“Mild Indian food - fit and easy to try for rookie food explore. Anyway, overall is still tastes good. The highlight is about service, very polite and professional. Price is a little bit more expensive than others because it makes from organic products. Location in downtown Silver Spring- no free parking spot near the restaurant - but there are a few meters parking around and garages are available.“
“My wife and I love Indian food and were delighted to find a highly-rated Indian restaurant nearby. So, we decided to give Curry Place a try. We ordered a variety of dishes and each one was delicious! Dishes that should be spicy WERE spicy, and dishes that shouldn't be especially spicy weren't. I ordered the food for carryout and it was ready within 15-20 minutes. Also, the man at the desk was pleasant and attentive. We will definitely order from Curry Place again... and again... and again!“
“Favorite Indian restaurant in the Silver Spring area. My husband loves the chicken korma and I the navaratna korma and bhindi bhaji. But really, we've never had a dish here we didn't like. When my mother-in-law was visiting us, she made us come here just for the chai, it's so lovely. And we always get the garlic naan and onion kulcha. Unexpected culinary gem in a strip mall.“
“I love indian food! Today, I decided to try Spicelife and learned that the owner is the same as Commonwealth (one of my favorites). So, needless to say, the food was just as good (or better) without the higher cost. In addition, they give you a lot of food. The space is large, clean and staff very friendly. I will definitely be “
“A Nepalese Indian restaurant with a combination of delicious momos & Indian food. We had the vegetarian Jhol Momos and they came with a sesame tomato sauce and were delicious. Do know the soup is a cold and the momos are hot. It was an interesting combination. We also had the Dal Bhukara which is like a dal makhani and the bindi amchur both dishes were delicious. The dal bakhura is a little different than a makhani but still good. We also ordered an assorted Naan basket which came with Roti, Butter Naan & Garlic Naan. The garlic Naan was our favorite and was absolutely delicious. I’d highly recommend to order with any of your entree. We also ordered the Kalakand that is a milk sweet usually never offered as dessert in a restaurant. But they did have it and it was pretty decent. My husband liked it but I thought it was ok. Oh, we also ordered the East Indian lemonade but it was very heavy and was not something we could finish. Overall, great food and service.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Must try are the momos.“
“I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant, both cuisines were excellent - Indian and Ethiopian. I had a large group and the waitstaff, bartenders, and manager were extremely friendly and attentive to everyone, providing outstanding service. My friends and family loved the food and atmosphere.“
“After a couple of dine-in experiences, I’m writing this review. Last night, we tried their updated menu and it's a delightful addition! The must-try items include Chicken 65, Aloo Dum, Chowmein, and Choila, ending with a dessert of Mango Kulfi – each dish is a flavor explosion. The staff was attentive and friendly, as usual. This place is suitable for both lunch and dinner, offering a nice ambiance to savor the delicious array of dishes. Definitely worth a visit; this place never disappoints us!“
“DON’T GET THE HONEY SHRIMP.We considered leaving after being served four small, tail-on shrimp that were shamefully overcooked for $10.Very glad we stayed and enjoyed the non-veg thali. The selection was fun, the food was delicious; and we were very satisfied with it. Service was extremely slow, but our server did apologize. We’re definitely going to try it again.“
