“Our first time coming here as we and my wife were in the area. Despite being busy the service was fast and friendly. We started with the fried pickles which were just amazing. My wife ordered the cheesesteak sub and I ordered the Chesapeake burger which is a burger with a crabcake on a kaiser roll. Prices were decent and the place had a very nice atmosphere. We will be back again“

“I had the bacon cheese burger it was excellent. My wife had chicken and liked it too. The whole place was very clean. The service was outstanding. We never had to worry about needing anything. I've been to four black hogs. And I'd put this one as number 2 as far as my favorite one. But it very close to number 1. I'll go back again. Good job guys!!“

“No way around it, this is a dive bar. Having said that, I loved it. Sat at the bar where we got excellent service even though the place was crowded. My burger was cooked perfectly and so good! My wife had the blackened salmon sandwitch and found it dry and not to her liking. But...prices are very reasonable, it is close to the Anteitam Battlefield in the georgeous Western Maryland countryside, and we'll be back.“
“Very cool laid back place where you can be yourself and not be judged.The two pool tables are wonderful to play while you drink or eat.The bartenders are friendly and very nice to chat with. “The people were very friendly, the food was good. My only issue is the place needs some updating. The place is old and worn down from years of wear and tear. But, it was clean. Sad to hear the owner had passed. Hopefully the new owners will spruce up the place.“
