“I was in the mood for Caribbean food last night. I was nervous because I live in Silver Spring and it's been a while since I've found a good spot. I found D&G Caribbean Grill on Uber Eats and read the reviews. I ordered the brown stew chicken, curry chicken with cabbage, rice & peas and coco bread. Everything was delicious! Since I don't drive I will definitely be ordering again.“

“Best Jamaican food in the DMW and I have have tried them all. Run don’t walk if you want authentic Jamaican food. You will not be disappointed. The food is consistent and flavorful. I have had the brown stew fish, brown stew chicken, oxtail and curry chicken. All have been outstanding. They have some specials that I keep missing because it sells out by lunch time. I cant wait to try the stew peas special on Weds that they make with oxtails. The owners look like they take great pride to ensure the food is always quality. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. “The food is really good the Mac and cheese was my favorite probably because it was unexpected from a restaurant but it really is homemade (like Thanksgiving homemade)!

My only complaint is that the rice was a little hard and the customer service with the checkout personnel was inattentive I’m big on customer service interactions when I’m spending my money somewhere. (Could be I came 20 mins after opening) They were although kind in greeting and departure

Other than that the oxtails were very tender (fall off the boat melt in your mouth type) and meaty avoiding much fat that’s usually with this meal from other places , and I believe the portion were okay for the price. The gravy was well seasoned.

I had the agave vanilla soda with a splash of root bear, IT WAS SO GOOD! Never had it before.

Overall the atmosphere is good , has lots of seating in an open area with a TV, I watched a basketball game as I ate. Music was ofcourse Caribbean music which I enjoyed also.Food was also really hot and ready to serve no wait! Meal Price ~ 27$
