Naz's Halal Food - Woodmore is a Halal Food spot popping up everywhere in the D.C. area. The restaurant offers bowls, burgers, and wraps. A grand opening featured free food and prizes with a warm welcome and amazing customer service. The platter was the bomb, and everything was so good. The lamb bowl with Kofta chicken on the side was so good that one reviewer came right back in to order for later. The young guy at the register was nice and patient. The restaurant is very nice and neat inside. The rice and chicken platter is a usual order, and the chicken platter is always the goat. The cheesesteak was pretty decent and the order was correct with no mayo, but the bread was kind of soggy. Orders are usually correct, but there could be some improvement with picking up orders. A shelf with mobile orders ready for pick up would be great. Overall, this is a pretty decent restaurant. The Mac n Cheese Bites are decent, good, and edible with cheese in them. The Wings are spicy bbq wings that were definitely spicy and fried hard. The Burger Combo with an all beef Halal burger, American cheese, ketchup, mayo, onions, pickles, seasoned fries, and a can beverage is better than your favorite chain fast food spot. The Chopped Cheese with chopped ground beef, peppers, onions, mayo, ketchup, and American cheese was stuffed and good. The Gyro with lamb meat, lettuce, tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce on a pita was tasty with tender lamb meat, a creamy tzatziki sauce, and a garlicky pita. The Create Your Own Platter with cucumber, rice, tomato, lettuce, chicken, and tzatziki sauce was plentiful with nicely seasoned chicken and creamy sauce with basmati rice. Customer service is on point. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly and differently abled persons friendly. The food is bomb.
