Beignets are delicious. Had my first trip to New Orleans this past summer with a great group of girlfriends and had my first beignet. Was wondering if I'd only be able to get them if I went to New Orleans, NOOOO, they are here, right here in Bowie at PJ's. Left church and stopped by, love these. I also got a chai latte, extra sweet, with some sweet cream added, yummy! Nice, quaint spot. I visited PJ'S Coffee today for the first time. I found the service to be great. The atmosphere warm and comfortable. The prices weren't too bad. My one concern was the taste of the food and drink. I'm so sorry to say this, but It wasn't very good. I think it was due to the quality of the water not the tea itself or the culinary skills of the baker. Both my tea and baked good had the same sulfur taste. Not cool. Definitely suggest a better water filtering system.

I wanted to try this place for a little bit. I ordered a frozen lemonade, 3 beignets, and slice of king cake. The wait was too long. The young lady who is gathering all ordered items needs more counter space. The beignets were warm and good. Powder sugar everywhere! ?
