Great food. Too loud. Good value.
I live in the neighborhood and Sal’s is absolutely a godsend. We probably either eat in or carry out 3 to 4 times a month. The food is consistently first rate. Dining in, the atmosphere is casual and convivial. Any neighborhood would be lucky to have a place that is of such consistent high-quality and as welcoming.
The pasta dishes are excellent! Gluten-free alternative penne pasta was quite yummy. I love their tangy red sauce. The eggplant parmesan was divine! And drinks are poured generously. My personal favorite was the Manhattan. Regretfully I forgot to take photos.
