“My favorite thing of the night was our waitress she was perfect! Ashley did a great job at taking care of us and making sure our orders came out correctly. She was nice and always checking in on us. The chef, Val, cooked an incredible meal for me and my wife. It's the best steak I've had in the county in a while. It made me feel like I was at home. All of my food tasted so good and the atmosphere was perfect. The lighting was great and the music wasn't super loud. My wife and I definitely found our favorite steak house now. Thank you for an incredible dining experience. We will be back!”

“Where do I even begin? The night before our wedding Sunny personally met us at the door with Manhattans, IPAs and cups of bacon. He and his staff made our incredibly culturally diverse family feel at home. When I needed a place to hold a cancer fundraiser for my dearest friend on the planet, Sunny not only allowed us to use his place without changing us, he allowed us to provide and auction off food and donated 10% of the bar receipts. Not the profits, the receipts. If there is a kinder, more generous business owner in St. Mary’s County I’d love to meet them. We no longer live in the county but every time we visit, we are greeted with a warm sincere hug from a good human we are proud to call friend.”

“Had a cake made by Wildewood Pastry Shop for a bridal shower. I showed them a photo from Pinterest for the anchor-themed shower. Wildewood Pastry Shop SURPASSED the original photo that was provided from Pinterest adding beautiful intricate nautical details that added to its beauty. Not only was it elegant, but the icing on the cake (see what I did there? Haha) was that it was absolutely delicious!! I also love the service and suggestions the shop associates provide when you’re unsure about flavors for the cake and icing, decorations, etc. We’ve been having our cakes and desserts made by Wildewood Pastry Shop for over 2 decades and have always been so pleased. (Stop in and taste one of their truffles!! Decadent!)”

“There is so much I can say it’s crazyyyy. 1st off the ice cream is bombbb way better than most places honestly this is my main go to anyway. The service is always nice I’ve never had bad experiences at any loc especially this one. Everyone’s just so down to earth and the atmosphere…I always feel relief just treating myself and just talking to peeps, the workers are always pleasant. Especially Hailey I can’t remember others names but it just makes it nice because everybody has bad days but it’s always a good one when I come here!”

“We had dinner there this evening, and everything was great. The server was so sweet and helpful. She helped one of our kids with us to figure out what sushi he actually wanted. She was on top of it with drinks, food, boxes and cleanup. The chef was fantastic! He was funny, talented in his skill and the food was delicious. We were told at the end that he was the owner, which made the whole interaction even better. He took the time to do his job and talk to us, all while getting ready to feed a party of 80 people. I highly recommend this place!”

“Grab a quick and accurate bit to eat with a full SUV of 7 hungry folks. Checkers did not let us down. Meals were again accurate and filling. Lexington Park Checkers is a good spot.”

“Great night in, Valentine’s Day crisis averted - my boyfriend and I tried to get sushi to-go to avoid massive crowds and waits, to show up at pickup time and be told our order was CANCELED!!! MOD pizza for the win! Great service, food, and better option for a great date Night! Shout out to Calista!”

“Food is great, decent parking, clean inside.

Service is hit or miss. It can be absolutely terrible or the best server in Maryland. If it’s not my table I notice it on other tables. Really depends on the server you get. Whether that’s being served and no utensils, no follow up from the servers just to refill drinks, or even bringing a to go box. Either it’s the constant turnaround of new hires or it’s a management issue directing people’s time correctly, who knows. It’s one of the few breakfast places in the local area and the food is always hot.”

“I absolutely loved going there with my mom when I was in high school. it became our girls trip snack date whenever we wanted a kiwi smoothie and I was craving their sesame balls. I really missed this restaurant when I had to move away from Maryland.”

“Staff and patrons were friendly. Our waitress Grace took care of us. The food was excellent. Prices were reasonable. We drank a local IPA they had on tap. It was nothing fancy. Everything we tried was good: sweet Heat BBQ Bacon Burger, Coleslaw, Tater Tots, Trio Chips while it seems like a local's place, they are welcoming to tourists, too. Choose your spot - the bar, inside tables, or outside seating. The décor is rustic, comfortable & welcoming. Don't miss it!”

“I don’t drink coffee, but I would recommend this Starbucks anyway. I can usually get a good Chai tea here, but sometimes my chai is to weak. Even though I recommend this Starbucks, it needs to do a better job at cleaning the lobby and bathrooms.”

“I walked up and got my food and the man behind the register started screaming at me to place my desert on the scale. He weighed my food and gave me a dirty look when it was over 43 oz. He told me that I had to wipe off the food dripping on the scale and clean up after myself. I will NOT be coming back as the staff is totally untrained and uncontrolled.”

“This place is good , they got a wide variety of menu including vegetarian options, but curries are a bit sweet specifically made for Americans, keeping the sweet out of the base and adding it before serving based on the customer makes sense, also their Biriyani is too bland , may be bcoz very few people order it.”

“The manager Jill is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and is the epitome of what a manager should be!! My pizza was cold and the Doordarsh driver forgot a couple items. She immediately asked if I would mind coming up there and getting another shake. I was so appreciative of her professionalism that I went up there and she really made my bad experience a good one!! “Quick service. Food was hot and delicious. Jalapeño kick burger was 10/10. Appetizer sampler was enough for a meal. Nice clean dining atmosphere. Can’t beat kids eat free after 4pm.”

“Nice Spot, came out of the Verizon store smelling something Hella good. Knew I had to stop in, and I did not regret it. Impeccable Jamaican cuisine, they also serve drinks. I'll definitely be back.

“Food was good, but the server I had was inattentive. She just gave me my food and said here you go and walked away. I had hoped she would come back so I could get ketchup. I had to ask another server to get it for me. Since I had a burger with a lot of sauce on it I needed napkins to wipe my hands. Once again no sign of my server. I asked another server walking by if she could get me some napkins. She brought me cocktail napkins. Pretty much useless when trying to wipe sauce off your hands! My server finally showed when I was almost finished eating up to ask me if I wanted anything or the bill. A friend of mine said thyey had poor service there as well. Train your servers and may I will come back one day.”
