It has been a while since I've liked everything about a restaurant. This family owned place was a pleasant surprise. Situated near a park near the water, and right up near Dorchester, it was the perfect stop. The food was perfect, no complaints and I am not a bread person but the rolls almost took me out. This location is discreetly hidden under the sign of an insurance office, but when you track it down you may enjoy the visit. We had no complaints about anything, which is greater praise than it might at first appear.
I didn’t care for the food that much, and was surprised at the cost. Most seafood was “market priced”, and the standard crab cake sandwich (which I’d guess was 4-5 ounces), was $24. If the food was better quality, I would not have minded the cost. Also, their website says Kids Eat Free on Thursdays, although they don’t do that anymore the waitress said. Being a family with two kids, that was a main reason we went there. We won’t be back.
