“This is a local hidden gem! This is a carryout so you can not eat in. But when I tell you the food is delicious... it's delicious. This is one on those place you go to when you want to feel like you're eating home cooked food. I always go for the breakfast and it never disappoints. Jenny, the owner, is so kind and if you order from there more than once SHE REMEMBERS YOU!! Now that is the type of costumer service you want to get when you spending your coins! I definitely recommend this place. It's well worth the money!“

“I don't travel to Alexandria much but I was with my baby and he took me out for lunch on his break.
He was craving a Ruben I could not decide between the Potomac Club,Tuna or the Sweet Virginia
I went with the club.
We were greeted when we came in,no wait time (but I think that is because people order and just come pick up,there were a couple bags ready to go beside the register)
We ordered and I looked around while waiting and also got a Cheerwine and some Route 11 chips.
The club was delicious 😋 it actually had a decent amount of meat !:I am not much of a fan of Avacado but on this sandwich with the sauce it worked and the bacon was cooked to perfection!
P.s I have no pic of the ruben because this man killed it after he opened it. (Although he did say that the beef was not as tender as he is used to)

The flavors are popping off my tongue as I enjoy the most juicy steak & cheese. This is somewhere to stop by and watch the game while you eat in their social seating area (with enough TVs and comfortable chairs).

I was just stopping by after a visit to Catholic University. My choice was better than many alternatives (McDonalds, and such). The atmosphere is “family/college”.

“Love this place. Walk in the door and immediately to the right is Lawd Shawarma! A wonderfully warm meal of fish & eggs with vegan bread and Christmas-spiced Sorrel / Hibiscus drink. “Been going here since I was a senior in high school and now Iam in '60s!
They have wonderful homemade sauces and delicious cheese options. They also have frozen foods that you can take home and heat up.
Love their mortadella but they also have other cold cuts.
They make in my opinion the best pizza in town. You can order a whole pie with toppings of your choice or you can just drop in and grab a slice or two. Empanada, Spanish pie and subs are highly recommend.“

“Generous Joe's is a staple of the Greenbelt Community and not only is it a great place to eat with good food but was also a great place to work at, Joe was a great owner and Aaron a great Manager. I am happy to see the place grow and to see the new ideas that are coming into play under the ownership of Aaron while still maintaining and respecting the tradition of Joe's as well. I ordered an egg and cheese scrambled on a croissant. Let me explain to you how good the sandwiches, it’s light and buttery it’s fluffy, The croissant is fresh. The egg is not salty. Overall, this will be my only place to visit for breakfast in the Alexandria Virginia area. It is actually the only breakfast place that I will visit anywhere, if I am in the DMV.
