However the jerk chicken and the rice & beans both were dry do to the server not giving me extra sauce after asking me and I stated I would like the mild sauce twice. “Amazing shop! CA is hands down my favourite thing about living in Pigtown, and I'm in there usually at least once a week. The shop is stocked with an eclectic, wonderful variety of food and drink (lots of international imports as well as hyper-local, Baltimore-made offerings, and specialty finds from all over the States), and I always wind up leaving with more than I came in for. They also offer fresh baked goods (cookies, croissants, little pies both savory and sweet, breads, other dishes) and there have been nights where I've eaten a salted oatmeal cookie from CA or a pint of ice cream (they have Cajou, Taharka, Jeni's, McConnells, Van Leeuwen, Boba x Ice Cream, & many more I'm forgetting) as my dinner. The cheese section and frozen meat/seafood is also insane -- my favourite burrata ever (Zingerman's) was a CA find. They also have seasonal produce including staples like tomatoes and lettuce/greens and carrots, as well as things like figs and sugar plums.In addition, the owners and staff rock. They're friendly and knowledgeable and have offered suggestions for recipes/pairings when I've asked (and they don't hover while you browse, which is very nice). Despite the short notice for planning, Tawana efficiently arranged the food and staffing we requested, ensuring everything ran seamlessly.What truly impressed us was the quality of the food. Guests quickly finished off the appetizer tray, particularly the cheese selection, while others couldn't get enough of the homemade chicken salad and thick roast beef on croissants. Not only was the food delicious, but it was also presented attractively, and the service staff ensured that dishes appeared and disappeared efficiently, leaving just enough leftovers for us to take home.I was especially grateful for their attention to detail when I estimated about 50 attendees; they wisely suggested providing for fewer, ensuring that quantities were more than sufficient—this proved to be spot on.Our church community, seasoned in attending such events, unanimously praised the catering and the overall event. “Attended a memorial service today for a church mother. I met a young lady that was serving and was most impressed by her work. I watched her for quite a while and later decided to go over to her. I asked her was she 15 years old and she said no 14. I asked was this her summer job and she said no that today was her very first day. I don’t know who hired her but I congratulated her for such an impressive job. Her demeanor and overall willingness to learn thoroughly impressed me. She appeared a little nervous but I encouraged her and told her she was doing a fantastic job. Please continue to keep her uplifted and I will be looking for her at my next event.“

“We ordered in from the Pantry twice, once for the 4th of July weekend and again for our minimony reception dinner. We tried their Chinese barbeque ribs, a unique spin on the quintessential Cantonese char siu pork. The flavors were spot-on and the ribs were perfectly cooked. Another highlight was the Swedish canapé kit, which featured smoked salmon belly served on mini blinis. Even the simple comfort dishes like beef-a-roni were delicious! Despite all items arriving chilled and having to reheat them there was no hint of the dreaded loss of flavor typically associated with leftovers - it’s about as close you can get to restaurant quality without dining in or ordering fresh takeout. The Pantry’s dedication to serving spectacular dishes inspired by a multitude of culinary influences comes across in spades. It’s been a total team effort as sous chef Dave delivered our order both times. Looking forward to have them cater our wedding reception next year ... fingers crossed! “Delicious fast casual Mediterranean choice right by the hospital! They are only open on weekdays so we drove into the city for a quick lunch. Street parking was easy and plentiful.I ordered the falafel plate (you can get regular or spicy falafel) and my boyfriend got the lamb and beef shawarma pita pocket. Both were delicious. It is served chipotle style where you decide pita or plate, and then it is an assembly line with topping choices. I picked every topping on my plate and am happy and full. My boyfriend's one complaint was that they did not have olives as one of the choices for toppings, but I am not an olive fan so no complaints here. My falafel plate was reasonable priced at $10.“

“Delicious lunch boxes very low cost you get a sandwich potato salad pickle cookie and a mint. Cost $11.00 add tax. You have to order 5 boxes for delivery. They also have wonderful loaves of bread. Great for offices or if you're having a meeting. The lady who delivers is so personable.“

“We were really impressed with Absolutely Perfect from the start. First, their tasting was complimentary (with the biggest portion sizes and best tasting food), when the other two places we went to cost us upwards of $150! Then, Lori did a really great job walking us through the whole process and answering our many questions. Most importantly, they made our wedding fabulous. From the seamless set up, to working with our other vendors, to the incredible service from their very sweet and efficient staff, to the amazing food - they nailed it! At the end of the night, a family member asked who catered the wedding. We replied "Absolutely perfect" and they said "I know it was, that's why I want to know who did it!" “Staci helped us with our wedding cake order. Fabulous experience with booking, delivery, taste and presentation! We had a 10" round almond cake with amaretto raspberry filling and French buttercream icing for our "personal" cutting cake. We also had a half sheet yellow/chocolate cake with cannoli filling and French buttercream icing for our serving cake (cut behind the scenes). We had 75 guests and we had about 20 servings leftover.“
