“We had such a fantastic anniversary dinner here last night. We were greeted with complimentary glasses of champagne; such a special touch! Nahal (unsure of spelling), our server, was fantastic; she was attentive and gave insightful recommendations whenever asked. The cocktails we had throughout the evening were wonderful. Wandering Days sounded intriguing with the housemade orange-rosemary-cinnamon syrup. This one had a slight smokiness to it which my husband enjoys more than I do, so we traded. Winter in Jalisco was bright and well balanced, especially for someone who doesn't always love tequila. We agreed The Witcher was probably the best cocktail of the evening and had a nice jaminess to it. For appetizers we shared the Tuna tartare; generous chunks of very fresh tuna, lovely crispy topping and the avocado puree holding it together was wonderful. We tried the charred Octopus Au Poivre. This was a recommendation and such a delight. It had some curry notes in there which made it very interesting. My husband usually hates octopus that isn't breaded and deep fried, but he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Short Rib and Mushroom Stroganoff pasta as my main course. This was outstanding! Not only did it have short rib and bacon, but also duck confit; delicious. The house made cavatappi pasta had a nice bite to it without being too hard; perfect. My husband had the Red Wine Braised Short Rib; also excellent, although the tomatoes made it a little sweet. For dessert we had the new Caramel Bread Pudding with caramel ice cream. Loved that the restaurant not only gifted dessert to us for our anniversary, but also allowed us to choose which dessert we wanted! We don't normally go for bread pudding, but this was nice as well. And ending the meal with some Blanton's on the rocks? Killer! Highly recommend Copper Shark.“

On top of his electric personality, the food was incredible (the mushroom toast was life changing), and the whole aesthetic of The Bluebird is so wonderful that I cannot recommend it enough!! Definitely get the Zatoichi cocktail.“
“Everything here is amazing! I love the coziness of the bar. All of the bartenders are so attentive and so awesome! And the food is REALLY good. I can tell they put thought into their food specials, as well as, in their beer selections! They have a really good sour selection and karaoke night is fun.“
“At first sit down we didn’t realize how much the menu had changed until we went to order one of the better starters, Kung Pao brussels sprouts. We get these every time we go to Victoria’s and although many places offer a version of crispy Brussels sprouts, Victoria’s had the best! So this was very disappointing to hear they’d been removed. We tried the crab toast shareable which was small for something to share with the table of 3 and you have to eat it quick or the bread gets mushy quick. Flavor was great however but not practical as a shareable. We also tried the oysters Rockefeller and this had less flavor but was much easier to share and was just ok. Grateful the poutine duck fat fries and lobster grilled cheese were still on the menu as they were amazing as usual. Bring back the Brussels!!“
“Food wasn’t great but the beer was. I got a Czech Urquell, great taste.I personally didn’t like my food because the chicken and the bacon on my chipotle chicken sandwich felt raw, almost as if they had been frozen prior to cooking and were still partially frozen.“
“We came in with the kids for dinner after the B&O North Pole night...so chill and perfect! The food was great and beers were delicious and different and the bartender Cole is a gem of a human being. You're missing out not to come by!!“
“Cool decor, reasonable food, nice staff. Pretty standard hotel restaurant, and not really a destination of any sort. They are open late so I would say definitely an above average later dinner option.The buffalo cauliflower was a bit salty but tasty. Hummus was normal. My partner had an above average burger. The drinks are strong.“
“Food was hit and miss. Drinks were good. We were there 3 hours. Some people in the party waited over and hour and half to get their entrees. Much of the food lacked seasoning. Wings were the highlight of the meal. Crab cakes were mostly filler. Smash burgers were good. Everyone loved the crabby tots.“
“It was very busy so the noise level was high. I had the Mediterranean shrimp skewers and they were delicious. There could have been one more shrimp. My friend had the grilled Mahi sandwich which she thoroughly enjoyed. I have been to Valley Inn numerous times before and after the Atlas group bought it. The food quality has remained consistent; however, the dessert menu was far more extensive before Atlas took over. They need to give more choices and one needs to be ice cream. We have plenty of local dairies and locally owned ice cream businesses so there would certainly be an opportunity to partner with someone.“
