“By pure accident, we came into Pepper House for lunch yesterday. This place is a hidden treasure. There’s no doubt you’re in for a real authentic Chinese food experience. They advertise it’s “street food”, so you’re not getting a fancy sit-down dinner, nor a mass-produced Panda Express combo. This is real. The flavors and ingredients are intense and fresh. The ubiquitous chili oil is house made, many-layered, and includes Szechuan pepper for the numbing you need and want. Pepper House is worthy of many repeat visits.“

“This place is awesome. I have gotten most my job hooked on this place. They are super friendly and fast service. They are located in an odd little shopping center but worth it for pick up or delivery. The price for amount of food you get is worth it.“

“The food is very good. Had the Peking duck which was excellent. Also good was the scallion pancake, green beans. The special house made garlic sauce is excellent. Service was slow and inattentive. The place was very loud making conversation difficult.“

“We visited this evening. Food was fantastic! I really enjoyed the soup dumplings! The staff was super courteous. I had brought in dessert (a cake) from outside and they were super nice about it. They even offered to refrigerate it for us! After dinner, they brought us fresh plates, forks and a knife. Despite being very busy they also don't rush you too much.“

“We had ate at other places in arbutus but this is dure the best one you can see them cook your food and the wo.an cashier is very nice the chef cooks the food as we like it very understanding thank you guys for picking arbutus we look forward of eating great food“

“Five Stars. 4 for Atmosphere only because they're always busy; mostly. Very patient and welcoming staff. Able to cook variations of both heat and sweetness for all dishes. Up there with Changs near Hopkins Med and Chius in Greenspring Sta.“

“Tried them for the first time today and am sold. Best Chinese food my wife and I have tasted in ages, and we lived in NYC for 4 years. Singapore mei fun - excellent. Happy family - excellent. Combination fried rice - excellent. Shrimp egg rolls - best I've ever tasted, anywhere. Steamed dumplings - very good, but the wrapping was a bit thick and the sauce was a bit scanty. We look forward to trying many, many more selections. Great job!“
