“Happy Chicken is simply the BEST!! I ordered some treats around Christmas time and was elated when they announced they were making the move to catering! Not only are Chef Martha and Zach a joy to work with, their food is out of this world!! They were very patient and accommodating as I planned meals for 15 women. They were very communicative and very kind. It was such a huge relief to work with them and knowing the food was going to be excellent!We did a BBQ night and a taco night and also added in leftover enjoyment- it was all perfect!I cannot rave about this experience and food enough! I HIGHLY recommend them!“
“We got married 10/22/22 in Rock Hall. I read wonderful reviews of Occasions Catering. We contacted them and spoke to Kelley. We met in person and she was very helpful in executing exactly what we wanted. Communication was not always great. Often times I'd send an email with no response as it went into her junk folder. When I called however, most of the time she answered the phone and answered my questions. It was important to me that the menu be gluten-free to accommodate some of our guests. The night of, when we first arrived at the reception venue, I was alarmed to see that there was bread or crackers that did not appear to be gluten free. Also, the gluten free crackers were mixed in with the others, which totally eliminated any chance of them being gluten free. There were not supposed to be any crackers or bread there that was not gluten-free. I am not positive that some were not gluten free, but that appeared to be the case.The cocktail hour was half over when we arrived, but the appetizers on the buffet by then were skimpy. I thought they would keep it stocked and they did not. The salad was served very promptly. During the dinner buffet service, we had printed a menu that was framed on the buffet table. The menu was supposed to include bearnaise sauce for the beef tenderloin. They forgot the bearnaise sauce. That was disappointing- a big miss.We had salmon in a lime sauce and that got rave reviews. The beef tenderloin was very tender and yummy, wish we had the bearnaise. The remainder of the menu also was soooooo delicious. Food was tremendous! The service was excellent as well. Had the communication been better and a few of these details not missed, I'd give them 5 stars.“
“Great ribs best in the area. Good as Saint Louis and Kansas City Missouri. Such places as q39 Bogarts and Pappy's all in the top 10 best BBQ in the USA in which I ate at all those places. Best ribs in 9 years. Will definitely be back!!!“
