“Cute place to grab breakfast. I give it 4 stars, it’s just a hyped up breakfast spot. The bagels were okay and the service was very good. No space inside to eat so be prepared to eat it outside, we didn’t mind since it was beautiful out but check the weather prior to arriving. I would come back if I am close by but I wouldn’t take an uber 25 minutes for a bagel here.“

“I am part Polish. My great grandmother came from there to Ellis Island in 1906. She raised my Mother who is now in an assisted living environment less than 1 mile away from this place. I am always looking for little things to help brighten her day when I visit several times a week. Polka Deli in has proven to be an ideal solution and helping me meet that goal. My earliest memories are eating freshly made pierogies and kielbasa in my great grandmothers kitchen with my mom and others. Enjoying the amazing food and snacks I’ve picked up here helps both of us during these very difficult times as she is confined to a bed over 90% of the time. She only eats a few bites so my diet is not improving but getting the smile from her and as we drift in and out of memories together is priceless.“

“Great little shop located in lobby area of a professional building. Shelves are stocked with many different options as well as healthy fruits and vegetables. Would recommend anyone doing business in the 8720 Office Building to check them out.“

“Solid family-owned deli serving up bagels and sandwiches for a relatively reasonable price. The turkey avocado sandwich was good but needed a little salt and pepper. They don’t bake their bread or bagels or smoke their meats in-house, but it’s still a decent spot if you’re in the neighborhood. I’ll be back to try a breakfast bagel.“

This is the type of establishment I'd gladly support on a regular basis if I lived in the area. The store was clean. The food was freshly prepared. “I'm from out of town but, as a seasoned traveler, I spotted a UPS delivery driver eating and noticed the plain foil wrap he was holding. That was a sign of flavor packed simple food. He told me where to buy it and went straight there. Chicken Madness is what I order and at first impression, the sandwich was fresh hot in temperature. Then, when I took the first bite I was reborn. I would love to visit DC again and most definitely stop by for 3 of these amazing sandwiches.“

“Generous Joe's is a staple of the Greenbelt Community and not only is it a great place to eat with good food but was also a great place to work at, Joe was a great owner and Aaron a great Manager. I am happy to see the place grow and to see the new ideas that are coming into play under the ownership of Aaron while still maintaining and respecting the tradition of Joe's as well. So definitely recommend if your in Greenbelt to stop by definitely recommend the Steak and Cheese w/ Green peppers :P“

“I have never ever taste a fish sandwich this good in my life. It tastes better than any high end restaurant. The service was excellent, the waitress was so polite and friendly. I’ve been there several times over the years and I always order the same thing the fish sandwich. As I observed the people that patronize the restaurant. Some ordered takeout and some ate inside. Everything thing I had seen on others plates from the breakfast foods and well stacked deli sandwiches looked good. The restaurant is very cozy and family friendly. “Great Italian deli. Best pizza. Some get sticker shock because “it’s expensive.” You live in DC, the air is expensive. It’s not dominos so shut up and buy the pizza or clear a path so everyone else can. Have also tried a few of their freezer options that reheat well at home. Service is what it is, they don’t work for tips.“

“A hidden gem in downtown DC. It’s tucked away near the UPS store but it’s delicious and the couple that runs the place does a great job, making fresh sandwiches. The grilled cheese is lovely and the prices are so reasonable! I highly recommend for an affordable workday lunch.“

We had the country burrito, a bagel, and the western omelette (which comes with home fries and toast). A lot of food for the price. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.“

I'm about to eat a very tasty Cobb salad 🥗 Lettuces, cucumbers, tomato 🍅 black olives, red onion, 🥑 avacado bacon 🥓 a lite sprinkle of cheddar cheese 🧀 and a boiled 🥚 egg. They have a balsamic vinagret dressing that is so good. I recommend this place. They serve all sorts of food, there's something for every taste. I've had breakfast from there and chicken salad subs and smoothies that you can have to your taste. If you're in Greenbelt @ 7501 Greenway Center Drive the smell of their food cooking will pull you in...around the corner to Uptown Deli.“

“On A Roll is truly a hidden gem inside a large office building. The receptionist at the front kindly pointed me back toward the cafe. The setting is open and pleasant with both regular tables and clusters of comfortable chairs. The freshly made breakfast wrap was just what I needed. A side of corn nuggets (like mini fritters) were nice and crispy. Fresh coffee and a brownie were a good way to finish. Staff are friendly and parking is plentiful. A great start to my day.“
