“Went here every time I had to work in the area. Santa Monica and fries were my go to. Sometimes when I was in the area for the day I would get breakfast in addition to lunch later, they are that good. The Chinese they had at the to-go bar was also a reliable choice. Don't get there that often any more though, but they are still what they were years ago.“
“The pink exterior of this building is unmissable; it seems to have become a must-visit brunch spot for those living in Georgetown. While we may have forgotten what we ordered, one thing not to be missed is their "spicy honey" - it elevates the taste of the bagel to a whole new level. Seating is limited, so it's first come, first served!“
“I’ve been wanting to visit Eddie’s Little Deli for a while now, and I’m so glad I finally made it out there on Thursday to try out their chicken cutlet sandwiches. Let me just say, that the sandwich that I had (No. 29) was one of the best I’ve ever had. If you haven’t been yet, I strongly recommend you go. Make sure you check them out on Tuesdays/Thursdays for their chicken sandwiches. Also be sure to check out some of their unique sodas!“
“We came here for the first time last week, and loved it so much that we came back today! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Shout out to Yaseen, who provided top notch service and made sure we had everything we needed. This will definitely be our go-to sub spot. We had the Milano and the California cheesesteak. Got extra Italian dressing on the side to dip my Milano sub in and it was perfect!“
“Very busy place with lots of good snacks (and supplies if you're short on something for the home) and food! The prices are a little up there but I'd say it's worth it for the most part. Make sure to get napkins for the sandwiches! They're really messy!“
“Great experience. My husband and I both had sandwiches that were delicious. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and have to say it was as good as, and if not better, than the one's I have had had in Philadelphia!!! My husband had toe Sottopanino and raved about it! The staff there are friendly, helpful and welcoming.“
“Excellent choice while in DC. The bagel and locks, and the corned beef and pastrami egg and cheese on everything bagel was absolutely fantastic!I see some others left 1-star reviews in regards to staff being negative. I mean, the title of this shop has "So's Your Mom"!C-mon! They're just yankin your chain before you even walk inside :)Live a little, am I wrong? Laughter is the best medicine.Food was awesome. Don't come in if you're too uptight, so, get your momma to pick up your order from here after you call ahead.“
“The price is very reasonable for the portion. The best is their dessert. I highly recommend the brownie sundae. It's enough to be shared by 4 if eat an entree 1st. It's got a beach vibe even though it's next to a car dealer and busy street. Very casual, indoor & outdoor seating. Family friendly and friendly staff.“
“Probably the best deli in the area.Their prices are quite a bit higher than other sandwich shops in the area, but they use top quality cold cuts. (With a tip, I paid a little more than $30 for two sandwiches.)They still make almost all of the sandwiches that have been on the menu since the old days, but they're happy to make your sandwich to order if you prefer.Busy at peak lunch time, obviously, but it's been deserted when I've been there, a little later in the afternoon, around 2.The staff is very friendly. There are tables inside and out.“
“Run by a nice family, this place has been a winner for years. While I do miss Ezat, who used to bake the flatbreads in the back of the store, this market carries many types of great ME breads and many other ME products. While their canned or bottled foods can be priced a bit high, this market is an overall winner! Love it! Superb!“
“Listen, I order GrubHub seven days a week OK I never heard of this restaurant before I ordered three sandwiches first of all the patty melt is so good and came so hot off fresh off the grill it burnt the top of my mouth and I couldn’t do anything but keep eating it. Amazing flavor freshness, quality, if I ever wanted to learn how to make sandwiches, I will go to university wise Miller, deli superior I’ve been in DC 13 years and I always learned something new or new place to go. This place never seems to amaze me keep up the five star business, I love it.“
“This is the place I’ve been looking for since I moved to the area. Everything is food as you could make at home, which is just what I wanted. I go here for breakfast regularly since the pricing is good and the food is filling. If you want to wow yourself, this probably isn’t what you are looking for. If you want somewhere you will likely keep coming back each week and would put into a regular rotation, then look no further. Family owned business, they make the food in front of you. If the wait time is too much for you, order ahead. I’ll continue to give this business my money, they deserve it.“
“We used to live in this part of FC and the Delly was our regular place to catch a quick bite. NoVa has a complete lack of a decent Deli...which is very unfortunate for this Chicago gal. Celebrity Delly does a great job of satisfying my need for a good deli sandwich or a nice bowl of soup on a chilly day. I ordered their sandwich half with side...had to get the matzoh ball soup as my side. The broth was chicken-y...the matzoh ball was tender. Nice pieces of tender chicken meat. Yummy! I ordered the Ruben sandwich half...and I go for the more traditional corned beef (in NoVa it's almost always made with pastrami) which made me very very happy. The corned beef was sliced paper thin, which is how I like it. It was tender warm and juicy. Great white sauerkraut. Nice sauce and bread. The side pickle was good, not great but definitely good. I was very happy with this. It satisfied my craving. I'd like to see a little more meat and less kraut, but it was a solid sandwich half. That corned beef was sliced beautifully thin. Gotta like that! My server was funny and nice and had good "Delly" energy. The interior hasn't changed much over the years...comfortable surroundings. I like the lunch counter for singles. I definitely recommend this place above all the other Fairfax delis. They are solid.“
“This is a cute little deli in the Fairfax Medical Center in Fairfax City. The sandwiches are all pretty delicious with fresh ingredients. They have daily specials including bulgogi on Tuesdays which is a really good deal with a lot of rice Korean slaw and Korean beef sauteed with garlic ( bulgogi). The food is really good here. My favorite is also the Reuben. It is also very delicious and loaded with meat. They don't skimp here. You get fresh deli meat, fresh cheese and service is great. The owner is very nice and friendly. Great place for a quick lunch in Fairfax city!“
“Needed a quick bite to eat after a concert & going to out hotel close by, had the chicken wrap & some wings. We enjoyed that it was made fresh on the spot & tasted great especially at midnight, the casher was UNFORGETABLE with his catchphrase "alright awesome!" He's definitely a highlight. Would definitely swing by this small hidden gem!!“
“Stepping into Sophia's Deli, located intriguingly in a hospital environment, one might not expect a culinary delight. However, this eatery shatters all preconceptions, serving up a steak and cheese sandwich that can only be described as a masterpiece of comfort food. The sandwich itself was a testament to simplicity done right. Encased within a wheat sub, it was generously laden with succulent steak and a lavish amount of cheese, melting together in a symphony of flavors. Each bite was a harmonious blend of tender meat and gooey cheese, making it a hearty and satisfying meal.Accompanying the sandwich was a cup of coffee, a perfect foil to the rich flavors of the meal. The total cost, a modest $12, felt like a bargain for such quality, especially considering the usual fare one might expect at a hospital deli.Beyond the food, Sophia's Deli offered an ambiance that added to the overall experience. The environment was not only visually appealing but also had an inviting aroma that set the stage for the meal. The service was lovely, with staff members exuding warmth and efficiency, ensuring a pleasant and swift dining experience.Sophia’s Deli stands as a beacon of quality and comfort, a surprising find in a setting where one might least expect a memorable meal. It's a reminder that great food can be found in the most unexpected places, offering a respite and a touch of normalcy in an otherwise clinical environment. For those seeking a delicious, filling meal at a reasonable price, Sophia’s Deli is undoubtedly a go-to spot.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessible door.“
“I 100% agree with the statement of best Pupusas in VA! It's a small corner store with amazing food. Great prices too. Pictured are their taquitos and I don't know what the white dipping sauce was that came with them but it was amazing too. We also had 4 pupusas, 2 cheese, 2 cheese/pork. All of that plus those 4 extra large taquitos for under $15. It was dynamite. Fair warning, signs for food are hand written mostly in Spanish so if you're a hater of Latinos, please move on and don't bug these amazing people. If you can't read Spanish, the owner will explain any questions that you might have on the food. Great customer service.“
“Quality food. Good selection of munchies and drinks. Always neat and clean. Owner, counter, and kitchen tean are friendly, courteous, and just nice folks.Parking: Parking can get tight on the cafe side of the building. Go around to the other side for a larger lot or access to the parking garage.Wheelchair accessibility: Level.“
“The five stars is only for the Banh Mi! It's the best value ($7) for what you will get anywhere in DC. Just bring cash because the credit card minimum is $12. The other bakery items can be good but hit or miss whether they will be hot or cold. The older lady that runs the shop is very sweet -- I will always come back when I am near the Eden Center“
“Delicious food with even better service! I've only been here a handful of times, but I haven't gotten anything I didn't like. It's quick and super convenient. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and breakfast items. They also have Banh mi which I haven't tried yet but looks amazing. I'll be back to try more items for sure. Stop in and give this place a try!“
“I grew up with this shop, and it's just timelessly delicious. Best sandwiches and nicest staff in the free world. The Italian subs are their hallmark, but the other sandwiches are all terrific. They're stuffed to bursting with meats and cheeses, and very tasty combinations. Their to-go dinners are amazing. The picatta, lasagna, sauces, pepperoni rolls...not a bad meal to be had. Get the alfredo or sausage sauce and you'll not be sorry. The grocery part of the shop boasts selective imports from Italy, always a fun stop. Come for lunch, and pick up dinner. Greatest place in Vienna. And get the cannoli.“
“Just wow. I was in S. Korea for the last 2 years and this is by far the closest I’ve had to it. I came in and was warmly greeted and given time to order. I got the bibimbap and it was a generous portion. The food is made to order so you will always receive it hot. I ate in to see how they treat other customers and to no surprise the received the same amazing customer service. If I could give more stars I would. Give this restaurant a try for sure.Reviewed by J2✅“
