Surprising to give NuVegan such a low rating. I went in there to get there delicious steak and cheese sub; they didn't have there usual bun-- only had it on a wrap. It was good but disappointed about not having it on a bun. Mac n cheese was disappointing; it lacked flavor--almost like eating wet chalk powder. Their greens were just ok. Yes Lord. This food is the TRUTH . The BBQ tofu, potato salad and tuno-macaroni salad completed my meal this visit and oh my gosh - all flavors on point. So satisfying and delicious. Road-tripping w my son to Philadelphia this weekend and both of us were delighted to see a NuVegan location pop up on Happy Cow just as we were ready for a lunch break. This was my first time and NuVegan Cafe and it was a pleasant experience. Elijah was very sweet and professional and the food was amazing. I had the crab cakes, a chicken drummie, Mac and cheese and yams. There were a lot of photos of famous people that have supported the restaurant along the walls and that was really dope.
