“Best quality dining option in all of Stamp. As a commuter who has very limited meal options during the day, I've bounced around all of the food options in this student union. Chick-fil-A was my favorite for a while but then got fed up with all the greasiness. Then all of a sudden I find myself being best pals with the manager 'Angel' who is a literal angel blessing me with meals that just make my day better. All of the employees are friendly and prior to meeting the manager, my meals were plain and dry so I asked him if he could make me something good and he definitely came through. I go there pretty much every time I eat at Stamp now, so if your excuse is that you don't know what to get just ask Angel. Or just ask for the Angel special and they will get you right what he makes me. I've yet to get tired of this place because the food is so fresh unlike what can be argued for the other dining options there. Give it a try.“

“Wow, this place is amazing! We ate here Sunday night and everything was perfect. The food was unbelievably good, full of flavor, and you can tell it’s made with care. The staff was so friendly and attentive the whole time. The chef even came out to talk to us, which was such a nice touch, he was so kind. You can feel the pride and love in everything they do here. Easily one of the better meals I’ve had in D.C.! We got the Cornish hen for dinner and meatball appetizer. They were both delicious but just Cornish hen was incredible!“

“So glad Maman Joon opened up on Capitol Hill! I didn't want to cook, and it is right next to the Metro. We got the family meal so we could try a bit of everything for future take-out. It was all delicious! The chicken, beef, and kofta kebabs were all tasty -- not overcooked or dried out. The falafel was light, but crispy. We got a huge portion of rice, which was light and fluffy. The humus, tzatziki, and eggplant spreads (much like baba ghanoush) were great. There aren't any tables for seating, but that works great for us! Will definitely go again! The staff was really friendly too!“

“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! The owner was also so kind - we just felt so cared for the whole time and can't wait to visit again.“
