“Tried Upper Crust for the first time today. It’s now my new go to pizza place. We’ve lived in Elkridge on the east end of HoCo for 25 years and our local joints have just fallen off lately so i went in search of a new place to get good pizza. I love good pizza. This place has great crust, it’s crispy and chewy just like it’s supposed to be. The ratio of sauce and cheese and toppings was just right too. If you’re looking for good pizza in central or eastern HoCo this is the place. It’s right near Howard High. Thank you Upper Crust for being there for me and having great pizza.“

“My husband and myself stopped in last night, 6/6/2024 after stopping at the dispensary because the smell coming from crimson coward smelt absolutely amazing and delicious. We both got the crimson sandwich and I got the mac and cheese as well and omg it was all absolutely mouthwatering and delicious! We got our daughter a kids meal to bring home to her since she was at her friends and she even loved it, even the crimson sauce which we didn't think she'd like. We will definitely be back! Told my husband next time I'm getting the burrito and im gonna add the mac and cheese to it and roll it back up to eat cause I guarantee it would be beyond amazing!“

“Stoped by today !!! The best place I have had halal food so far. I had kofta kabob wrap and hummus with bread it was delicious ❤❤❤. Loved the place and the service was excellent!! Very nice customer service and people. Will surely come again !!

“Stopped by Spicy Chicken & Fish for the first time and had a great experience. I originally ordered the 2 piece chicken meal with fries and a drink for only $6, which was already an amazing deal. While ordering, I noticed a poster advertising 5 pieces of chicken for $5.99. I pointed it out to the cashier, Rafi, and without any hesitation he switched my order over for me.

When I got my food, I was surprised to see they gave me 6 pieces of chicken instead of 5. One of the pieces did have a small raw spot with some blood, so I brought it back to Rafi. He apologized right away, replaced it without any hassle, and even gave me 2 extra pieces of chicken for the inconvenience.

Mistakes happen, but what matters is how they’re handled. Rafi provided excellent customer service from start to finish, was respectful, and made sure I left happy. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and cooked to order. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks again, Rafi!“

The seasoned chicken paired really well with the fragrant rice, fresh lettuce, and creamy white sauce. The hot sauce added a nice kick without overpowering everything. “First time visiting here. Halal BBQ is a relatively new concept around here and wanted them ncheck it out. Ordered two Halal Beef Brisket sandwich combos with french fries and a canned soft drink each, a Halal Bacon and Brisket combo sandwich with curly fries and can of coke, Mozzarella cheese sticks combo and a chicken tender serving. Overall the family enjoyed the food, my beef bacon was over cooked and the strips of beef brisket were thin slivers of meat with a barely discernable flavor coated with copious amounts of BBQ sauce. First impression was so-so, for me. Seating was barely adequate with people standing over your head to order. It was night time and rainy sonif they have outdoor seating, it was not part of the equation tonight. I will definitely visit again as I like to support small upcoming businesses and I like the concept of contemporary American food for those who prefer to eat Halal.“

“Probably my fave Chinese takeout place in the immediate area. They are halal, so no pork, but that's not much to give up.

I like the corn and chicken soup, the spicy chicken wings, and the Singapore rice noodles. Their crab Rangoon is above average as well.“

“This hidden gem is one of my go to spots. The owner is friendly and helpful along with his son. The Falafel Wrap is one of my favorites and I always get it with everything including the hots. They even have a homemade sauce called “mambo sauce” and it’s delicious! I always put old bay and the mambo sauce on my potato wedges. Food is always prepared quickly and I have NOT been disappointed! I highly recommend!“
