We ordered a catered breakfast for 30 people and everything was amazing! Our guests said it was some of the best food they ever tasted on a buffet. The staff at Columbia were helpful and accommodating! Excellent all the way around!
Great food as always!
My wife and I have come to la Madeleine Columbia for many years. Food, staff and atmosphere is great. We strongly recommend it.

La Madeleine is a restaurant that offers a pleasant dining experience. The food is praised for its quality, with highlights such as the delicious chicken sandwich marinated in balsamic sauce and the tasty mushroom soup. The baguette is also noted as being particularly good. The prices are described as reasonable, and the atmosphere is commended for its cozy ambiance, with a gas fireplace adding to the comfortable setting. Some reviewers found the setup confusing, noting that menus were placed away from the ordering counter and that silverware, drinks, and condiments were self-serve.
However, some concerns are raised regarding the cleanliness of the restaurant, particularly the outdoor seating area and the plates. One reviewer mentions that the tables and coffee plates appeared to be stained and not properly cleaned. The menu selection is also noted as potentially limited, with a desire for more options. Inconsistent service and poor handling of mistakes have been noted, though the manager has stepped in to address issues. Despite some disappointing experiences, the food has potential, and some found the staff friendly and helpful, doing a great job keeping tables clean.
