This time, however, I was met with a level of customer service I’ve never experienced there before. The new corporate manager, Alex, was exceptional. He took my order with genuine attentiveness and made me feel truly valued.
As I dined in, I noticed he brought that same energy to every customer—checking on tables, engaging with guests, and even sweeping the floor without hesitation. These are skills you typically see in fine dining, and as someone with a management background in that world, I immediately recognized it. I had to ask where that level of service came from.
When you operate in a consumer-driven environment, you learn quickly that people aren’t just buying a product—they’re buying you. If they don’t like the experience you provide, you lose the customer and the revenue. Alex understands this, and he brings that awareness to the entire Dobbin Center team.
I was so impressed that I went back the next morning for breakfast—something I never do, especially since I usually go to Qdoba across the street because my team and I get 50% off. But I’ll tell you this: as long as this Wendy’s location continues to be coachable and embraces the atmosphere Alex is building, you have my business and my referrals.
Genuine customer service is rare nowadays. When you have a team that can deliver it, you hold onto them. By bringing a restaurant-quality experience to fast food, Wendy’s, you’ve cracked the code.

“Wendy's isn't bad but it seems like it isn't what it once was. We wanted chili & didn't feel like cooking so even though theirs is just a hamburger broken up in the beans, its still good enough & its quick & easy. I stopped there for the chili & also stopped at my favorite Asian restaurant to pick up rice. This location looked very clean & the woman who waited on me was very nice & very friendly!“
