“This is, hands down, the best chicken sandwich I've had anywhere. It's also one of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere. The spice is great and the flavor is out of this world. the portion sizes are great and the chicken is fried to perfection. That's not even mentioning the crispy waffle fries that put all others to shame. Don't eat here if you want to enjoy chicken sandwiches elsewhere. once you have a chicken sando at Hangry Joe's, everything else seems mediocre by comparison.“

“We ate here for lunch and we ordered the chicken breast with rice, wings and fries. Everything is good except for the fries. They were not crunchy and tasted bland. The service is ok. It was a very busy day and the line was long. I felt bad for the single cashier who has no help. I wish they will have two cashiers taking orders when the line is very long.“

“Who doesn’t love good Fried chicken? It’s what Popeyes Louisiana kitchen is known for. And that chicken sandwich people tend to go crazy for! Which I have yet to try. My wife and I used to go there every Tuesday for their specials before Covid hit. But if you’re trying to eat healthy, this is not the place to be ?! But if you love fried chicken, want to treat yourself, and there isn’t a local Mom and Pop fried chicken joint or a Kentucky Fried Chicken? Then this will have to do.
We wanted to eat it so bad, it was gone so fast, I forgot to take photos of the chicken. ?
And the guy behind the counter was nice enough to give us an extra thigh in place of the drum, ? because on Tuesday, you get a thigh and a drum for $2.99. They were hot, spicy crispy, and crunchy but, I will have to say, I was very disappointed in the size of the chicken thighs. These things were so small. It was basically done in 1 to 2 bites. Like the size of a smashed golf ball. I remember, Before they used to be nice and meaty, good and worth what you paid for. It would take us a while to eat a few. But I was very disappointed this time.
Okay! Next time, I will change my review if the chicken isn’t so small. And don’t get me wrong. I understand Restaurant business! Sometimes you get what you get when you order chicken, one week the thighs are big! Next week the chicken pieces are small. Same thing happens at Domino’s Pizza when we get chicken wings. I love their baked chicken wings. Some weeks they would be huge and some weeks they would be very small, so I’m not holding this against Louisiana Kitchen personally, because I’m a chef and all, but they definitely gotta get some bigger chicken in there.
