“We had such a wonderful experience at Slim Chickens thanks to Andre. He was so observant and noticed right away that we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday with her girlfriends, enjoying her favorite meal—chicken tenders. Without us saying a word, he came over to wish her a happy birthday and surprised her with a dessert topped with a candle, singing happy birthday.

It was such a beautiful, thoughtful touch that made her day even more special. Moments like that truly elevate the entire experience.

“I was one of the naysayers. Like seriously, who needs another chicken finger place??
Well I'm a believer. After waiting until the crowd circling the entire building calmed down after the grand opening, I tried these chicken strips. Unbelievable! Every single time I've been there the chicken is juicy. The breading is crispy but not too heavy but not too light, and they make their sauce EVERY DAY 🤯
So ridiculously good. I am now a believer.“

“The chicken at this place was good and fresh, even at 9:30 at night. The man working behind the counter was friendly, the only reason I took off a star is because of the location. It's inside an old, rundown gas station, and a bit hard to find.“

The chicken was crispy and juicy and the rooster sauce was dynamite! After lunch, I recommended it to another coworker who then also ordered it for lunch and tried it for the first time. I walked in, having never been here before - never had Dave’s. The young lady behind the counter was not much help, but I figured out what I wanted. They had the food done fast and I got started.

Hotness did not undue the depth of the seasoning and the taste of the chicken. It was the kind of hot that hurts, but that you can’t stop! You have to keep going. I love that feeling with food.

The fries were delicious- just right crispy and the Dave’s sauce was tasty and unique enough that you noticed.

I got a shake to balance everything out and it was good. Soft-serve basically with a slight mocha flavor.

Parking spaces here are tight so you will want to get away from the front spots and save yourself a door ding.

“This is, hands down, the best chicken sandwich I've had anywhere. It's also one of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere. The spice is great and the flavor is out of this world. the portion sizes are great and the chicken is fried to perfection. That's not even mentioning the crispy waffle fries that put all others to shame. Don't eat here if you want to enjoy chicken sandwiches elsewhere. once you have a chicken sando at Hangry Joe's, everything else seems mediocre by comparison.“
