“First time here, seems a little small but that’s alright. Music was a little loud, had a small child with disabilities who immediately covered his ears. Staff caught it and music was turned down without asking. Big points! Here comes the chips & salsa. Hit the spot just right, nice little bite. Received our menus and what an extensive selection. We studied it for a while placed orders. Tried the queso w/ jalapeño, good but I like my other place. Anyway here comes our meals, great presentation, and nice portions. Of course I like larger portions and the wife likes smaller portions, so we have take home too! The food is terrific and believe I may have I found my new favorite! Definitely will be back. “My husband and I stopped in here for a bite on our way home from a meeting in Annapolis. We were seated right away and given warm, fresh chips and fantastic salsa. Our server, Cynthia, was really attentive and genuine. I ordered street tacos, my husband had a machoman burger which was massive. He said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. I chose chicken, el pastor, and carnitas for the tacos. All were excellent. We were too full to try dessert but their options looked amazing, so we will be back. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. The quality is there through and through.

“My wife and I weren't having the best of days and headed out to aimlessly search for somewhere to eat and hopefully raise our spirits, we drove near Plaza Garibaldi and I was struck by the thought that their staff is family oriented, happy, and friendly. We were greeted with a smile taken to our table and had drinks chips and salsa in short order with smiles all around. Our day was improving from the start. We ordered the Spinach Dip for the first time and my wife enjoyed it, I would have preferred that the spinach leaves be thinly cut before adding them to the queso. She seemed to look at the long wilting leaves as a game while I considered them a way to get queso on my shirt. Sadly I don't recall her dinner, mine was Fajitas de Camaron the tortillas, onions, peppers, sour cream, and guacamole were all as expected and quite enjoyable. The shrimp were Plaza Garibaldi at times as its not uncommon for anyone passing by to check your drinks, ask if things are well, take empty dishes away; however, Plaza Garibaldi made us feel welcome, relaxed, and well looked after.“

“Tried the restaurant for the first time on Friday evening.
The service was outstanding. Multiple checks by the server plus a visit from the manager is always a plus.
Atmosphere was very good. The Friday night Mariachi band playing is a lost art amongst all the other similar restaurants in the area (we have been to just about all of them).
The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Many menu items not found on other menus.
The restaurant is one of the tops in the area. Give it a try.
Fantastic experience and will definitely return.

“The best tripa tacos I have had in a while!!!!!! The first time I had them, I ate them three times in one week. That’s how good they are. The lengua/tongue is amazing as well, however it is chopped and not shredded like most prefer. Great birria as well, you can’t go wrong. You may have to use a translator but that’s how you know it’s damn good!!!!!!!“

“I’d say right now these are the best tacos in Severna Park - and from a truck. I was torn between 4 and 5 stars - but decided to go with 5 because Severna Park is not San Diego. Would be a strong 5 if they chopped the onion and cilantro fresh. Could use a few extra toppings like roasted peppers. Try the birria tacos and get some guacamole with chips. Definitely do takeout, not the best location for the outdoor tables next to the truck but hey - it is good that they are there.“

“After 2 terrible taco experiences in the Crofton area, this was my 3rd day determined to find good tacos as I do not live in Maryland.

I was able to order with ease. I got 2 barbacoa tacos, 1 pollo, 1 pastor, and 1 carne asada. All were delicious!! They tasted fresh. They were truly flavorful. Even the chicken taco.

The only thing was that the tortillas fell apart. I wasn’t watching to see if they made them there or not. But they split open when going to take a bite.

They also had a cabbage habanero salsa and that was rico. I would definitely come back here and I’d recommend this truck for anyone that just wants tacos!! I wish I discovered the truck sooner. It would have saved me 2 days of eating terrible tacos from other places.“

“Love this place! Had read about it on Bowie Next Door and had driven by many times. It's right outside the gas station at SW corner of 3 & 450. I had a carnitas quesadilla, and my husband had a Carne Asada burrito. Both excellent! Most items are $14 (burritos, quesadillas, tortas, 4 tacos), with $18 for a few specialty fillings (birria, barbacoa, lengua). Very tasty, with wonderful salsas, Pico de Gallo and fresh cucumber and radish. They were pleasant, and it was not a long wait. They have three picnic tables with a covering. Look forward to trying them again.“

“Fast fresh food, never understood why Chipotle got greater foothold in America than Cal Tort!
Haven’t been here in a couple years, it’s definitely tucked up and out of the way for us. The new design is very streamlined and modernized and the menu has been pared down. Not really digging the new decor - seems kind of sterile and could be any fast-casual venue. Also while the smaller menu makes ordering faster with less options, I miss the old menu with greater variety - most of the items didn’t appeal so I choose tacos.

However the food is still fresh, good tasting and relatively good for you!

We had a burrito ( pretty ginormous) and the 3 taco meal. Mixed up the taco threesome - steak, carnitas and the shrimp special. The shrimp was the best, with some sweet-chili sauce. The steak was good and savory, nice small cubes pieces of meat. The carnitas was just so-so - nothing special. The burrito was packed and definitely a fork dish.

Parking: Plenty of parking in strip shopping center.“
