My husband put me on to East Moon years ago and let me say that the food os always hot, fresh and tasty. The cocktails are nice and prices are great.
The spotcis a plus because they can hold large parties!
East Moon is one of our favorite date night spots just a bummer the movie theater closed so we have to go to Annapolis or Waugh Chapel“

We came on a Tuesday and it’s trivia night and veryyyyy loud - too loud to have a conversation, so we went on the patio - a little chilly and can’t order out there, but can at least take your food out there. Pricey for what it the vibe is, but tasty! I’d go back…but not on trivia night, lol!“

I did not make a reservation but was pleasantly greeted and immediately seated by Haywood. He was extremely welcoming and made me feel like a regular, although it was my first visit.

I sat at the bar and Anabel & Facundo were
friendly, energetic, and very attentive. I enjoyed conversation and did not feel awkward at all being a solo diner. Anabel prepared my cocktail beautifully and made sure it was picture ready!

Food was delicious! I had the beef dumpling, the filet mignon, and cheesecake. Temperature was good, wait was not long, and presentation was beautiful.

Every time I order i tell myself I'll try more things and then get the same delicious dumplings and I'm happy. The C Momo (if you want some heat), Kothey Momo (if you want to control the sauce options), and Jhol Momo are my go to orders. Order more than you want because they are fantastic as leftovers. If this restaurant was further south on Georgia Ave there would lines out of the door.“

It is upstairs on the east side of the mezzanine level offering a very wide variety of tasty Asian and Middle Eastern dishes in a quiet, courteous and uncrowded environment. My wife and I live nearby and, for over 20 years have come frequently for lunch and the occasional dinner. This is definitely THE place to eat in Union Station.“

I tried fried rice from dozens of other carryouts and nothing comes close to their rice. Steak and cheese is the best and others dishes are great as well. “General Taos chicken is delicious. Sweet and sour chicken was great. The wings are crispy diner wings, not Asian fusion like you’d expect but still good. Had pan fried chicken dumplings (EXCELLENT), shrimp fried rice, and steamed shrimp dumplings. Also the drinks were strong, first time having a blueberry margarita and I highly recommend. Wish they had egg rolls and not just spring rolls. Atmosphere could be better, maybe try dimming the lights? But pretty no-nonsense and straight forward overall including decent service. Unfortunately, I only received one lunch special (just two rolls), which I reported through the Uber Eats app for a refund. On top of that, instead of adding the cream cheese inside the roll as requested, it was just placed on top—which really affects the flavor and overall experience. Anyone who enjoys sushi knows that how the roll is made impacts the taste.
