“This is a favorite in southwest Baltimore County. I was referred there by a friend. A friendly place , if you have diet restrictions it’s not for you. Everything is on the same grill and cross contamination with the spatulas are for sure. Pork and beef touching everything. “The food here is more than what you pay for. Typically order wings and legs. Fries are fantastic. They will tell you 10 minutes but it has never took that long. All the fried food is dropped after order which is delicious. Recently ordered the green beans for a picky eater and they said they were definite contenders.

“There is no in-store dining. This is strictly for carry out food. The fried chicken is exceptional. And the price is also very reasonable. 25 pieces cost me around $35. Do not let the location (it is in a less than desirable part of town) bother you! Calling ahead for larger orders is a must, as they have a large number of walk-in customers.

The chicken from this local chain is really good, and so are the biscuits and beans and rice. The coleslaw they serve isn't very good though; and I can't speak about the quality of their mac and cheese, which is a very big deal here in Baltimore.

The stores are all run as convenience stores (bodegas) that have fried chicken available, so don't expect fast-food joint service or amenities here. The good news is that you can get stuff here that you can't get at a fast-food chicken restaurant.

To sum up: Eat the chicken at Krispy Krunchy. It's good. Try the sides available, and figure out which ones you like. And don't expect more from the place than a place like this can offer. You do those things, and I predict you will be happy you stopped at Krispy Krunchy Chicken.“

“I love this place. I transfer buses at the corner and every morning I go in and get a scrapple egg and cheese sandwich. Along with a large half & half. They make the best half & half out of anywhere I have been in Baltimore. And I love the owners. They are so friendly. She knows what I want before I even speak.
