“If I could I'd give it 6 stars! Excellent and plentiful food. We eat here when on vacation and will stop several times over 10 days. Always friendly wait staff so you know the management treats them well. What I hate about giving 5 stars is the place will fill up quickly.”

This quaint brewery in the heart of Chesapeake city never disappoints… always delivering SOLID stouts and porters, and everything in between. While the beer is fantastic, the real reason I come to this bar is to see Ashley’s beautiful face & her one of a kind cheerfulness. Additionally, there is nothing more entertaining than the banter between Ashley and Jake. I have made friends for life at the Bayheads bar, and cant wait to make more memories in the future. “My daughter and son-in-law brought us to the Bayard House over the Christmas holidays 2024, and we were impressed-with the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the views! We wanted to do something special for our Army Captain daughter, Noella Rogers, when she promoted to Major yesterday. Remembering how much she and her husband, Jeff, love Bayard House, we called about getting a gift card. Chris Amon, (not sure of the spelling), Assistant General Manager, answered. When he told me that we'd have to come in and purchase it, I told him that we lived in Texas, so that wouldn't be possible. I was about to hang up, but Chris asked where my daughter lives. When I told him, he said that he lived close to her town and volunteered to hand-deliver it! Wow! He didn't have to do that! Not only did he hand-deliver it this morning, April 24th, he bought and placed it inside a card for her. Talk about going above the call of duty! Bayard House, hang onto Chris because that guy is gold! Everyone else, if you haven't tried it out yet, go get you something wonderful to eat at Bayard House! Chris, we look forward to thanking you in person the next time we come to Maryland for a visit!”
