We found ourselves 3 hours away from home and Schaeffers Canal house was recommended to us by a local. WOW were they spot on! Our server was Willow (or Willa) she was amazing. I asked for a gluten free menu and she politely showed me where the main menu has tine gf's next to the gluten free options. I'm old and I didn't see them but she was very gracious about it. My mom and my 2 year old were there this past Tuesday and Holly was out waitress. she was the best!! never have a bad meal here. one of my favorite places on the water!!
Terrible experience, we won’t be back! 45 minutes for appetizers?!? And then no utensils to eat them with… after two complaints?!? Food was o k, nothing worth the hype at all. And if your a Maryland restaurant specializing in seafood, wouldn’t your crab cake be worth it? Nope, tasted like it came out of box shipped from Minnesota!!! I mean absolutely tasteless!!
