“Food was good but not sure I can say it matched the price point, our quality of service also didn’t quite match the price point.Atmosphere description: A nicely remodeled, but extremely small space with a total of less than 12 tables in the dining area, I believe.Overall experience: A crammed space, that is overpriced for the atmosphere and service, with some good food to make you say, ehhh it wasn’t that bad I guess.Pictured dish: $40 - Seafood Fra-Diablo (which was missing listed menu items such as clams and mussels, that my server failed to tell me about ahead of time.)“
“Went here for crabs today. We got the #2 size, and they were $48 dollars for a dozen and fries with old bay. We got there about 3 o'clock and the place was almost empty. The waitress was very attentive and got our drinks quickly. The only thing I can say about the crabs is they were a little mushey also the meat stuck on the inside of the claws. I pretty sure that they were over cooked.“
“Great place..Great food..Great service..Sat on the back deck looking over the water and deck was heated..bonus..Cocktails are great..Scallops and risotto were incredible..Scallops cooked perfectly and risotto was creamy and flavorful..Highly recommend Schaefers..“
“About a dozen of us had a post funeral lunch. We were looked after by Michael and he was wonderful. Every dish was delicious: crabcake sandwiches, Rockfish sandwiches; both crab soups; sliced ribeye...all were reasons to come back for dinner! And don't forget dessert!“
“I cannot say enough about Forge Southern Comfort. I have been here dozens of times, and it has been consistent every single time. That is to include the drinks as well. They keep everything fresh, keep it interesting and tasting good.Forge is highly recommended and a great local spot.“
“First of all they are real New Yorkers. That certainly makes a difference. Walked in to get a few slices with friends and family. Service was quick and friendly. Large slices (double slice). Very tasty, good sauce, crispy crust just like home. Have gone in and ordered several times. Will go back again and highly recommend them. There is some Seating outside if you care to hangout. I'm a fan.“
“We came down to Elk Neck and decided to stop in for crabs. We were very happy! There is an all you can eat option, but we are older so less hungry. The crabs were done right, as was the shrimp and clams. Eating at the tables in the tent on the sand had a nice beachy feel. Definitely recommend for a great casual experience!“
“This is a great spot for lunch/dinner. Easy to get to, but parking is limited in their lot. The restaurant has a cute beach theme for decor and it is nicely decorated. The menu had a lot of selection and a kids menu. The kids were given crayons and coloring books, which they loved! The prices are very reasonable. Service was great. Food was good too! Def recommend!Parking: Very limited parking at the restaurantKid-friendliness: Kids menu available, prices very reasonable. Portions are good size for kids too. Each kid was given crayons and coloring books, which they loved!“
“The place was pretty quiet. But when we walked in and ordered the lovely lady who was helping is got us all our goodies we needed, food came out fresh in about 20 minutes. Definitely not pre-made and sitting around. The Ulmimate seafood boil and 2 drinks was $80 for my husband and I and we left absolutely stuffed! We even were offered fantastic corn bread too! I have never had food of this style before and this has set my expectations through the roof. I will recommend this to anyone I know who is going through the area!“
“What a wonderful restaurant! We were visiting the area so didn't have the level of familiarity with the staff that other customers did (it's kind of like family; servers knew the drinks folks would want as they were seating them), but we received excellent service nonetheless. The food was served quickly, was hot, and - most importantly - was absolutely delicious. There are numerous dessert choices, all worth trying. We loved it enough to return the next day!“
“Second time visiting this place. The first time was years ago, and I remember enjoying their food. This visit was also enjoyable as the food was excellent as well. The server was very attentive to us and gave her recommendations. The appetizers were great, and they do have vegetarian options. I had their burger special, and it came with steak fries. We also had the cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert. Both were to die for. Finished up lunch with an espresso, and we all left happy.“
“I had alot of fun in there wish I could have stayed longer but the crew I was with had to leave..My step daughter works there and she's the best her name is Carley..shes a great bartender and very well liked from everyone that goes in there! Hope to go back and stay longer next time! Love ya Carley, Anna“
“Having a takeout place this close to home is awesome. We just got shrimp, crabcakes, crab bisque, crab & shrimp pasta, and some crab dip that I used to top my Old Bay sausage (they sell their own sausage roll that is next on my try-it list). Honestly, it was the best crab dip I've ever had and the best-tasting crab bisque anywhere! Their jumbo crabs live up to the hype, too. I can't express enough how delicious everything is, every time. Super-friendly service tops everything off.????“
“After a delay in opening we finally got to visit. Phenomenal crab cakes. Very reasonable prices. Speedy, kind service. Owner John even came out to make sure we liked the food see and see if we needed anything at all. Down to earth and Very casual attire place. Dine in option. Fabulous deserts. The booths were even comfortable. Highly recommend.“
