“Date of visit: Mon Aug 21, 2023When driving through Maryland, enjoying crab is always on the menu.We looked for a small, local place that offered a nice crab meal that would satisfy our cravings.We found that in the Promenade Grille.Located right on the waterfront, the promenade grille is a small local diner seafood shack. They have many typical summer shack items, but true to Maryland style – crab is the main item.We ordered a soft shelled crab sandwich with cucumber salad, and a crab cake sandwich, and both came with hushpuppies. The meals are served very fresh and hot, and everything wa absolutely amazing.They have a lovely covered patio where you can enjoy your meal, rain or shine.After you enjoy your meal, you can walk along the water on a boardwalk and enjoy the views, the wildlife, and waterfowl.There are 2 museums along the way that you can visit.Along the way – you will find a lovely park, with a pier with carvings of local birds, and a light house.This is the perfect place to get a delicious Maryland crab meal with a view.“
“This is my first visit and a chance meeting with this place. I'm from DEEP south Alabama and I wanted some famed Maryland crab. Sadly, due to a screwing from the Maryland Department Fisheries, this place received a poor "lottery" tick from allotted yearly crab.Ok. I got their homemade crab cakes. FANTASTIC. They give you a couple of sauces for the cakes. But you won't need them. The abundance of crab, spices and small amount of bread....coupled with the flavor of the cooking oil, yields a delicious treat. The homemade broccoli salad was very good.However, my farts now smell really weird. No kidding.“
“Had lunch here for the first time, it was hard to choose my entree there was so many delicious sounding options. I decided on the crab bruschetta Flatbread, so good...and of course a delicious chocolate cake was the choice. The service was great more importantly the food came out pretty quickly. The restaurant was very clean. The prices were reasonable. I highly recommend giving this place a try.“
“Down in Havre De Grace for work and Kyle and I had to find something to eat for lunch. We found Pats Pizza and it slapped! I recommend the Hot Honey Ricotta and Vodka Cream Sauce slice! Cheers fellas when we’re back down here we’ll be going to Pats Pizza ?“
“Went to dinner with my family (4 kids 10,7,5,3) on a stay at GWL. Rebecca was our server and she was the highlight of our visit- incredibly kind and very friendly to all of us- especially our children. The food was great and the service was quick. The host was also incredibly kind.“

“I felt an overall improvement and will come back soon. I was pleased with the food and service. I do feel bottled water needs to be added to your menu. Unfiltered tap water is unacceptable for any restaurant, but especially Havre de Grace water. A source of revenue for you and customers don't mind paying for the convenience. You should also offer a sparkling water by the bottle. I personally don't care for a sports bar atmosphere and feel you have the space to offer a separate more formal space with a quiet atmosphere for those that wish to be away from the noisy drinking crowd. It wasn't bad on the night we were there, but other evenings it can be. Overall I was pleased and felt our food was good. We had the Grownup Grilled cheese, Steak Salad, and excellent margarita pizza.“
“My wife and I loved our experience here. The food was delicious - appetizer (bacon wrapped scallops), soups (shrimp gumbo and cream of crab), meals (crab cakes and seafood pasta), and desert (banana fosters cake). Our waitress was also very polite and attentive. We will definitely be back!“
