“Yes & No! The food is fabulous! Every time I go I get something different, and it doesn't disappoint. What DOES disappoint is the one server, female, of color, who has a horrible attitude and tableside manner. I've had her serve us before and she thinks her Sh** don't stink. She bangs things on the table, says "I told you..." she interrupted conversations rudely, and one of my guests ordered soup but when the other's were served, she did not get hers until her entree came. The checks were wrong (she left soup off of two, but luckily we are honest folks) I was asking my friend something about my check and this server jumped down my throat. My tip reflected her service.“
“Great food. Great staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Great place to hang out with friends.Wheelchair accessibility: The only complaint I have is that it is not handicap accessible so I could not bring my father there for a meal. He would love this place!“
“We found this gem a few weeks ago after hitting the Mexican restaurant down the street. I’m usually too full to get ice cream but the other night we decided to go in. The flavors were amazing and different. We sampled several different ones. My husband got Strawberry and cheese while I got coconut. They were both fantastic. We will be going back! The owners were lovely and explained the flavors that we were unfamiliar with. Definitely recommend this place.“
“The Wellwood is always a good choice for lunch or dinner! Our waitress Melissa went above and beyond, pairing excellent food with excellent service (and a flair of humor along the way) making my most recent office outing a memorable one.Make sure to try the cheese bites!“
“This is a great spot for lunch/dinner. Easy to get to, but parking is limited in their lot. The restaurant has a cute beach theme for decor and it is nicely decorated. The menu had a lot of selection and a kids menu. The kids were given crayons and coloring books, which they loved! The prices are very reasonable. Service was great. Food was good too! Def recommend!Parking: Very limited parking at the restaurantKid-friendliness: Kids menu available, prices very reasonable. Portions are good size for kids too. Each kid was given crayons and coloring books, which they loved!“
“We came down to Elk Neck and decided to stop in for crabs. We were very happy! There is an all you can eat option, but we are older so less hungry. The crabs were done right, as was the shrimp and clams. Eating at the tables in the tent on the sand had a nice beachy feel. Definitely recommend for a great casual experience!“
“I highly recommend Basket Case Crabs for your seafood needs! The crabs we got were big and full and at a great price. We also got a very delicious crab pretzel and crab mac salad. Very friendly owners and just an all around great place! We'll definitely be back.“
“This may be the weirdest review ever but here goes. I have never actually eaten here but was stationed at Aberdeen PG in 1970-71. Really enjoyed Maryland for the most part and growing up in Mississippi I was exposed to several dishes that we had never heard of at the time in the Deep South. Submarine sandwiches believe it or not were one. We had Po Boys which were similar but not exactly the same thing. Also grew to love fried clams which no one here at the time ever ate. Of course we had oysters from the gulf and plenty of blue crab but the steamed crab Maryland style was superior to our boiled crab. By the way Marylanders, many of the crabs y'all are now eating come from the gulf not Chesapeake Bay. A friend of mine who is a crabber on Lake Pontchartrain sells all of his #1 crabs for export to Maryland as he makes twice as much than selling the locally . Anyway, I do wish I could make another trip to the area and see what is new the last 50 years. From the looks on yelp, a lot. I am a foodie though and have learned to read between the lines on Yelp reviews and based on that, I would definitely give this place a try. It looks great and I feel sure it is. Bon appetite!“
“Came here for dinner with my family while we were staying at Great Wolf Lodge. This is a small restaurant, the menu has most of the typical pub offerings. My husband and I both had Orange crushes to drink and they were very good. For my entree, I had the rockfish tacos. They were seriously amazing, probably the best fish tacos I have ever had. My husband had the cheesesteak which he also enjoyed. They have a kids menu and our kids had grilled cheese. When we first came in the place was nearly empty, however as we were leaving the small restaurant had completely filled up. Service was a bit slow but I felt bad as it seemed they had one waitress handling the whole place. I would still come back, as the food was great and the price was right.“
“We got the Chimichanga Special and the Texas Nachos when we visited. Both dishes were very large portions and very good! Our waitress was excellent and kept refilling our chips/salsa and drinks. We hope this restaurant does well and stays for a long “
“Stopped here for first time with my wife and aunt. We got fish and chips, cheese steak, wings, and cream of crab soup. We enjoyed every item and had to carry stuff home. Our waitress was both friendly and helpful. We will stop here again. Only bad thing, Ravens lost.“
