Bay Crawlers Crab Shack Reviews
Best crabs 🦀 in the area cooked perfectly highly recommend this place !
I’ve gone there a few times now for take out. They take your order over the phone, tell you what time to pick up, and you’ll typically be waiting about an hour after said pick up before you get your food. Last time we ordered we intentionally arrived late so we wouldnt have to wait, and STILL waited an hour for our meal. The owner said they won’t start your order until you arrive… why provide a pick up time then??? I’ll never go back.
Bay Crawlers in North East is trash!!! 1 hour wait times to pick up food, and just to get raw bacon on my food. Also took the order wrong. Happy Father’s Day. Lol. The owner was like you can come back and get another. 3 hours later I might get something edible haha. No thanks!!!! I will cut my loses.
Menu
Bay Crawlers Crab Shack is a popular seafood restaurant known for its deliciously prepared and seasoned crabs, corn, and hush puppies. The restaurant offers good sides and beverage options, providing great value for all-you-can-eat crab options. Customers praise the friendly and efficient service, and the recent addition of an air-conditioned tent has made the dining experience more comfortable. The food is consistently praised as amazing and fairly priced, with the snow crab legs platter being a particular highlight. Despite some concerns about the size of the crabs, the restaurant is a favorite for crab season and a place customers are eager to revisit.
The restaurant is dog-friendly, and customers appreciate the quick and attentive service. While some drinks may not be consistent in taste and color, the all-you-can-eat crab options are worth it. However, some customers dislike being charged for butter and Old Bay, feeling it should be included in the crab experience. Overall, the Bay Crawlers Crab Shack is a fun and delightful experience, with one customer even converting from a crawfish fan to a crab enthusiast after visiting.
