The Bayard House Restaurant Reviews
Phenomenal food! Beautiful atmosphere! Good vibes all around ! Best salmon you’ll ever have . Filet 8 ounce with asparagus…yummm - Best service
Party of 4 had Thanksgiving dinner here last night.
Arrived with no reserved table as requested but finally seated in the bar area.
Initially we waited for 10-15 minutes for someone to approach our table.
Eventually the food arrived but wasn’t hot, just warm (2nd time in 2 months).
At that point we gave up, ate the just warm food and paid the $375 bill.
Something has changed here within the past 6 months and it’s not in a positive way.

Hostess seated us at a table & we asked to sit at a high top instead. She said the bar would take care of us and walked away with menus and silverware.
Sat in bar area for 15 minutes & no one acknowledged us. Only 4 people at the bar and 2 bartenders. Bartender finally leaned across the bar to offer drinks. We asked to order food and she told us we need to come up to the bar to order. Not interested in self serve. Won’t be going back.

The Bayard House Restaurant offers phenomenal meals and great service, making any celebration unforgettable. The atmosphere, views, and food impress visitors, creating a special experience. A manager named Chris A provided exceptional service, even going above and beyond by hand-delivering a gift card to a customer's daughter. This act of kindness showcases the dedication and customer care found at Bayard House.
The restaurant is situated right on the water, providing a great view of the bay and nearby historic houses and businesses built around 1830. Visitors have praised the food, especially the crab cakes, which are packed with crab, and the Maryland crab soup, described as the best ever. The menu features a variety of options, from soups to dinner salads and desserts. The cajun po boy is also highly recommended, as it is made with fresh tomatoes and lettuce and a flavorful cajun sauce.
While some guests noted distractions, like being seated near a loud party or the air conditioning blowing directly on them, they still found the Bayard House to be a great establishment. The wait staff is courteous and kind, ensuring that meals meet customer satisfaction. Overall, visitors highly recommend this lovely restaurant for a wonderful dining experience.
