“I was out shopping and on a whim, I stopped in to get the wife a Crab Cake. We have property on LBI, and only the best restaurants last there. So the wife is spoiled. I took the "large crab cake" home "hoping" she would like it. She Loved it. When they say Large chunks of crab meat they mean LARGE. Their restaurant is very clean and comfortable. We will be back to the Crabcake Company a LOT.“

“My first time at Gus's Crab Shack was back in December of 2021 when a band that i represent was hired by Gus to entertain his guests. Since that time, we have been a regular part of his entertainment lineup. What started as a spot at the back wall turned into a stage being built for all bands to play on and then with a new huge stage outside under a tent and then again, he added yet another stage outside under another tent. He started with just two bands a weekend and now has up to 5 bands a weekend. he has pulled out all stops in providing the best entertainment that he can for his patrons. As far as the food and service are concerned, we have no complaints. We always get what we ordered in a timely manner. The food is served hot, and beverages are ice cold. If we had any problem with an order, the staff makes it right very quickly. Gus, the owner makes it a habit to go around to meet his guest to see how they are doing and if everything is all right. We highly recommend Gus's Crab Shack. The staff is very courteous and friendly.“

It's not always the price, the food and a big parking lot; it's clientele and atmosphere, however those mentioned do have relevance. “My daughter and son-in-law brought us to the Bayard House over the Christmas holidays 2024, and we were impressed-with the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the views! We wanted to do something special for our Army Captain daughter, Noella Rogers, when she promoted to Major yesterday. Remembering how much she and her husband, Jeff, love Bayard House, we called about getting a gift card. Chris Amon, (not sure of the spelling), Assistant General Manager, answered. When he told me that we'd have to come in and purchase it, I told him that we lived in Texas, so that wouldn't be possible. I was about to hang up, but Chris asked where my daughter lives. When I told him, he said that he lived close to her town and volunteered to hand-deliver it! Wow! He didn't have to do that! Not only did he hand-deliver it this morning, April 24th, he bought and placed it inside a card for her. Talk about going above the call of duty! Bayard House, hang onto Chris because that guy is gold! Everyone else, if you haven't tried it out yet, go get you something wonderful to eat at Bayard House! Chris, we look forward to thanking you in person the next time we come to Maryland for a visit!“
