“What a great little restaurant off the beaten path. People there so pleasant, food wonderful. I asked for an entree at about 2:15, and they checked to see if I could get it. Didn't say on menu that the entrees start at 4. They got it ready and it was an Eastern Shore platter that was smazing. I go a side of Bert's and "corn pudding" which I had not had since a child. Go take a ride to Vienna, MD.

Saw the menu and ended up getting the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and a side of house special chow mein. Also came with a huge egg roll. The food was amazing. Flavor. Texture. The staff were so friendly and upgraded our room because it was my birthday. We got a suite, which was breathless. We stayed at the bar most of the night. The bartenders were wonderful. “We just stopped in for lunch and ordered the carne asada and camarones a la Diablo. The steak was super thin with a great sear and flavor. The beans that came with it were well seasoned and super tasty! The shrimp were impeccable as always, perfectly cooked smothered in the smoky sauce. Next time I’ll remember to ask for extra hot cause *I* was after that eye-watering kick but I’m not complaining, it was well balanced. We both got dessert, I got a flan which was a little congealed towards the edges but the middle was that perfect silky texture and I’m not splitting hairs over a couple bites with some chew, the flavor was really good and it was delightfully jiggly! The cheesecake we suspect is made in-house as it’s much more delicate than we were expecting and the strawberry sauce they smother it in was phenomenal. Great food made by great people. As always I can’t wait to come back!
