Today was a very bad day for Sugar Buns Cafe. And for my husband and me. The lone waitress was slow though very sweet. The tables weren’t being bussed - and the food !!! … I had two scrambled eggs with cheese and the first bite tasted like mold. I took another bite and was convinced it was. I ordered Texas toast (twice because apparently she used invisible ink or something to write the order) and got white toast - the first and only bite of which tasted like rancid butter,...read full review
Half day at school so we took our grandkids to Sugar Buns for lunch. Great tuna club, stacked BLT, yummy cheeseburger and hot dogs. The waitress brought out coloring books and hot chocolate, she was wonderful. The kids loved the model planes hanging in the lobby and had plenty of room to move around. A most enjoyable and delicious meal. We even had a jet take off which the kids loved. Great time!
The food is always great - especially love the breakfast and the hamburgers. And the desserts are awesome!

Sugar Buns Airport Cafe and Bakery is a small cafe located at a local airport with a cozy family-style atmosphere. The cafe offers a unique view of the airplane parking area, taxiway, and runway, making it an enjoyable spot to watch planes take off and land. The menu features breakfast specials, including the popular pancake special with sausage patty and scrambled eggs. While the food can be hit or miss, the sugar buns are a standout, being big enough to be shareable, light, fluffy, and sweet. The cafe is kid-friendly, with a new kids menu available, and the service is generally prompt and pleasant, with friendly waitresses. Customers have praised the Eggs Benedict as the best they've ever eaten, with about 20 varieties, and breakfast is often described as hot and delicious. The atmosphere is quiet and comfy, and the lighting offers a good view of the airport. However, some dishes, like the 4 Egg Omelet, can disappoint, being small and looking burnt, and prices tend to be high, with a turkey club sandwich and fries costing nearly $30. Overall, Sugar Buns Airport Cafe and Bakery remains a decent spot for breakfast or a quick bite, especially for the view and friendly service, though some may find the prices steep.
