“I hosted a surprise 30th birthday for my husband at HYC last night. Everyone I dealt with from the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting an event there up until the end of the event last night were fantastic. I ordered food from the catering menu and everyone in attendance commented on how great the food was. Our bartender and server were great as well and I was checked on several times to make sure that everything was going well. We had a great time with great food and drinks and I would highly recommend hosting an event here!“

“Our first experience here was amazing! We began with a drink. I got a glass of wine and while the wine list isn’t extensive it was good for the price! My fiancé got an old fashioned and he enjoyed it! We got the Thai chili wings to start which were soooo good! Crunchy and full of flavor! For our entrees we got the burger smash style with caramelized onions instead of red onions! We also got the cauliflower crunchy tacos! They were spectacular! Both of us had drinks a starter and entrees for under $80. You could easily eat here just a meal for $30 a piece! Great experience!“

“There are not enough stars in the sky to give this place. Talk about creating fantastic dishes they make such wonderful flavor combinations. They use fresh ingredients it’s very evident in the high quality of food that they provide. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and the vibes are indescribable. My waiter was Jimmy today I ordered the Halibut after I asked what it was 😂😂😂. He told me it was delicious and one of his favorite fish. The man was spot on it was absolutely amazing how every was seasoned and grilled to beyond perfection. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Chesapeake it was an absolute hit.I don’t know which one was better but I’d love to have a serving of either one again anytime. Oysters were perfect this place has quickly become a huge place of interest. We both look forward to returning and I will suggest this amazing food to anyone. What great food and a great time.“

“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! “This stand is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk up, the smell of perfectly seasoned beef sizzling over the coals hits you — and it only gets better from there. I ordered the classic pit beef sandwich, sliced to order and piled high on a fresh kaiser roll. The meat was tender, juicy, and had that perfect bark on the edges. I topped it with their house-made tiger sauce (a killer horseradish-mayo blend) and a little onion — simple, but absolutely packed with flavor. Service was quick, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their meat and the experience they’re giving customers. Sides were solid too — especially the hand-cut fries, which were crispy and golden. They are the closest to boardwalk fries that I have had on this side of town. Prices are very reasonable for the portion size and quality you're getting.I'll definitely be back!“

“My daughter chose pies over a wedding cake for her reception. We ordered multiple flavors and they were such a hit with the guests. “Pats is our go-to never lets us down dinner option. We've been eating there for 6 years now since we moved to the area and I've not ever ordered something I didn't like. Not to mention that they give huge portions which I think is commendable seeing as so many of the restaurants right now are making you pay more for less due to shrinkflation.

Like I said we love everything but their pasta is amazing my husbands favorite is the chicken parmesan and mine is a tie between the spaghetti and meatballs or the chicken burrito bowl. Oh and if you like delicious things go ahead and tack on one of those desserts lol.“

“You have to see for yourself. I noticed my coworkers with different varieties of delicious looking food so I asked and they pointed 👉🏾 me right in this direction. I've been there 3 times within 2 weeks🤭 trying different foods and all of them were tasty. Wings-crispy and fresh, fries-just like the old school chicken boxes that use to be in the cardboard boxes, -cheesesteak was good as well, could've been a lil more meatier but it still didn't disappoint 🤤. Breakfast sandwiches was smacking. First I got my scrapped and egg with butter and a lil mayo ummmm yes please😅😁. Then I said well let me see about that bacon and egg prepared the same and the picture below is all I could salvage before it was totally all gone in my digestive system 🤣. I'm a 1/2 &1/2 type of woman more tea than lemonade and that holds well after the ice melts so I indulge in that everytime. If you're over East TRY THEM!! “My friend and I have been trying Pubs and eateries in the Baltimore area and this one popped up on Trip Advisor. We decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. This is a friendly neighborhood Pub and Grill that screams good food & service. The lady running the grill should be named a grill master with everything she makes. The burgers are at least ¾ of a pound of quality beef and made exactly the way you ask and the fries are freshly cut and prepared. I also had the Jerk Chicken strips, which were delicious (Not the quantity I expected for $12.00) but very good. I saw the wings come out for someone else and they looked good too. The young lady making drinks was exceptional with her knowledge of mixology. I am going to make it a point to bring my neighbor and her boyfriend here next time. I live on the North side of Baltimore city, but this is worth the drive.“

“We were looking for a place to grab a bite and watch the sunset so we ended up here. There was music outside and it was busy so we went for a walk on the beach while we had time. We came back about an hour before sunset and the music was over and most of the crowd gone. Weird. Anyway, we ordered shrimp tacos and chicken tacos. We weren't expecting much from a place called snack shack but the food was delicious. The chicken and shrimp had som much flavor, they were amazing. It's a great spot to sit back and watch the sunset over the ocean too.“
