“Today we visited for the first time! Newbies to making our own Boba tea but also not super experienced in it in general. The owner was there and was so kind and walked us through the process. Offered samples of any tea we wanted, gave ideas for mixes based on general flavors we liked, and made suggestions we had not considered that turned out to make the drink so much better. He helped my 7 year old put hers together and let her do it. Made her feel special! He was overall such a nice guy and great to chat with. The place is super clean and welcoming and there are a ton of board games and several arcade type games to play. Such a great environment for the whole family. Everything was tasty and super affordable AND they offer a great military discount which was a fun bonus. I can see my family coming back many times for fun drinks and some quality game time together.“

“We had a fantastic experience with Palate Pleasers! The menu was creative, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Standouts included the brie with orange marmalade, flavorful vegan options, and the interactive risotto bar with excellent toppings.

The chicken with tart cherry–shallot sauce and the fresh spinach salad were also big hits. We especially appreciated the attention to detail with toppings and dressings served on the side.

“I had to take a moment to share my incredible experience at Auntie Anne’s in the Annapolis Mall — all thanks to an amazing employee named Sedarus. I was honestly having a rough day. You know the kind of day where everything just feels off? But then I walked up to Auntie Anne’s, and Sedarus completely turned things around.

From the second I approached the counter, he greeted me with the kindest smile and a genuinely welcoming attitude. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does and cares about every customer that walks up. He didn’t just take my order — he made me feel seen. He talked to me with real warmth, asked how my day was going, and cracked a few light jokes that honestly lifted my mood in a way I really needed.

Not only that, but the way he was handling the rush of customers was beyond impressive. He was moving fast, staying organized, multitasking like a pro — all while keeping that same positive energy. You could tell other customers were enjoying his vibe too. He never once seemed overwhelmed or frustrated. He made it look effortless, even though I know it wasn’t.

My pretzel was hot, fresh, and absolutely perfect — but Sedarus was the real reason this visit stood out. In a world where good service is becoming rare, he went above and beyond. He made my day better with kindness, efficiency, and genuine care.

“I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Looks like a bookstore from the outside, but guess what?! Well. It kind of is a bookstore. Because it’s IN a bookstore. But that’s part of its charm. The coffee is great, obviously. And they have tea. Just don’t you dare ask for chamomile. Or if you’re feeling playful, you can always get some hot choccy. They’re always playing great music too. A fantastic atmosphere. I go in every single day with my laptop to do some work and I swear, I accomplish more in one hour than a college kid on Adderall cramming at 4am for an 8am final. The real absolute rockstar of the show, though, is Madison. I think she might actually be superhuman. Once I ordered something and she told me no, I don’t want that, and then made me something else. “Since checking this place out, I have become a regular customer, and now come in 1-2x a week for a grocery restock. I have had no time to cook since the new year and had been eating out almost every meal.... but there are so few places around with healthy options. I am so picky about what fruits and veggies, organic items, etc. that I eat, and thankfully sprouts has provided great options for that! The baristas/cashiers are always so helpful and kind to us. Some of my favorites are-- ALL of the soups (seriously that chicken and rice is perfection, especially if you are under the weather), turkey chili, thai wrap, veggie wrap, egg roll in a bowl, drunken noodles, bbq chicken and succotash, the vitality ginger drink (that spice burns but feels good!), the challah and sourdough bread, eskimo bites for a treat, and the strawberry blondie brownies! I am trying new things as the menu changes, but these have been on my constant restock when available of what I have had so far!! I recently learned they can heat the items for you, so you can eat a hot meal there (I have not done this yet myself, as this is like grocery shopping for me so i take it home... but i have seen lots of people in there enjoying their meals!) I have seen some complain about the prices, but if you know the quality of what you are getting (local, organic), then you would realize these are very fair prices! If I have ever wanted to request something or had a slight issue, Sprouts has always been more than happy to accommodate. “I am so happy with my visit to Annapolis Cake and Candy Supply. The owner, amazing. So sweet and informative and had so many good things to add to my venture into dipped treats. Her shop, I am in love. She has everything one could think of, I am glad I found this place because I will be coming here for my chocolate and baking needs.“

“I switched to the Giant Pharmacy in Crofton after horrible experiences with other pharmacies and it has made a huge difference in my life, since I take many medications and interact with the pharmacy quite frequently.

The pharmacy itself is extremely efficient, and there is rarely more than a 2 person line. I used to have to wait in line for roughly 15-30 minutes, and now I rarely even wait 5 minutes.

The pharmacy is on top of handling issues such as prior authorizations for me, or explaining what I need to do when a situation arises. They go above and beyond to give me the care I need.

The pharmacy is easy to contact via phone, and I use the app which allows me to easily ask for refills, and then they text me to inform me when it is available for pickup. There is an incredibly quick turnaround time for this process.

I have even arrived at the last minute a couple times (I felt quite bad about it), but they still helped me, although I'm sure they all just wanted to go home.

Most importantly the staff has been phenomenal. They are all super friendly, helpful, patient, and smiley which helps brighten anyone's day.

Caitlin, one of the employees however has really, really stuck out to me for going completely out of her way to help me more than once. I can guarantee the staff is very busy but she took the time to talk to the insurance company for over 30 minutes to sort out my situation. I was extremely frustrated by this point, but she managed to save me slightly over $300 dollars with that phone call. I have been incredibly grateful to her ever since, and hope she knows how much I appreciated this. She really went above and beyond.
