“Today we visited for the first time! Newbies to making our own Boba tea but also not super experienced in it in general. The owner was there and was so kind and walked us through the process. Offered samples of any tea we wanted, gave ideas for mixes based on general flavors we liked, and made suggestions we had not considered that turned out to make the drink so much better. He helped my 7 year old put hers together and let her do it. Made her feel special! He was overall such a nice guy and great to chat with. The place is super clean and welcoming and there are a ton of board games and several arcade type games to play. Such a great environment for the whole family. Everything was tasty and super affordable AND they offer a great military discount which was a fun bonus. I can see my family coming back many times for fun drinks and some quality game time together.“

“We had a fantastic experience with Palate Pleasers! The menu was creative, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Standouts included the brie with orange marmalade, flavorful vegan options, and the interactive risotto bar with excellent toppings.

The chicken with tart cherry–shallot sauce and the fresh spinach salad were also big hits. We especially appreciated the attention to detail with toppings and dressings served on the side.

Dessert (strawberry rhubarb crisps) was the perfect finish. Everything was beautifully executed—highly recommend!“

“I was in Annapolis, Maryland this past weekend for a wedding. I was on the search for a coffee shop and come across Seoul Blues Coffee. I ordered a pistachio latte, hot and it was the best pistachio latte i have ever had. The best! Get you one if you are ever in the area.“

The options are a bit overwhelming for a first timer, but when I told him it was my first time in- he patiently guided me through the options. He told me about his favorite, the Carmel Apple Pie and a couple of the other best sellers to help narrow it down.

“A nice Korean version of a French patisserie with a surprisingly not that expensive collection of baked goods. Kim chi is hiding, so are delicate laminations of sugar and yeasted dough. I had the custard tart, and a messy chocolate on chocolate tartlette. Top it off with a nice cold brew and that's a pleasant visit.“

“Since checking this place out, I have become a regular customer, and now come in 1-2x a week for a grocery restock. I have had no time to cook since the new year and had been eating out almost every meal.... but there are so few places around with healthy options. I am so picky about what fruits and veggies, organic items, etc. that I eat, and thankfully sprouts has provided great options for that! The baristas/cashiers are always so helpful and kind to us. Some of my favorites are-- ALL of the soups (seriously that chicken and rice is perfection, especially if you are under the weather), turkey chili, thai wrap, veggie wrap, egg roll in a bowl, drunken noodles, bbq chicken and succotash, the vitality ginger drink (that spice burns but feels good!), the challah and sourdough bread, eskimo bites for a treat, and the strawberry blondie brownies! I am trying new things as the menu changes, but these have been on my constant restock when available of what I have had so far!! I recently learned they can heat the items for you, so you can eat a hot meal there (I have not done this yet myself, as this is like grocery shopping for me so i take it home... but i have seen lots of people in there enjoying their meals!) I have seen some complain about the prices, but if you know the quality of what you are getting (local, organic), then you would realize these are very fair prices! If I have ever wanted to request something or had a slight issue, Sprouts has always been more than happy to accommodate. “I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Looks like a bookstore from the outside, but guess what?! Well. It kind of is a bookstore. Because it’s IN a bookstore. But that’s part of its charm. The coffee is great, obviously. And they have tea. Just don’t you dare ask for chamomile. Or if you’re feeling playful, you can always get some hot choccy. They’re always playing great music too. A fantastic atmosphere. I go in every single day with my laptop to do some work and I swear, I accomplish more in one hour than a college kid on Adderall cramming at 4am for an 8am final. The real absolute rockstar of the show, though, is Madison. I think she might actually be superhuman. Once I ordered something and she told me no, I don’t want that, and then made me something else. And you know what? She was absolutely right. It’s like she was able to take her hand and reach it into the deep, dark recesses of my soul and somehow know more about me and what I want than I’ve ever known about myself my whole life. I will never question her on anything again. If you’re in Annapolis for even just one day, this place is a must stop. Just don’t come when I’m there, I’m trying to get some work done.“

“This store saved a graduation gift from us that DoorDash totally messed up. Let me explain, We ordered from Va thru the Crumbl app and was delivered thru DoorDash well the DoorDash driver left the cookies on the doorstep and well the ants had a nice dinner. So when our graduate came home to her gift she got a surprise of ants on her beautiful cookies. So when she called us we were so upset. So we called the store and they called their owner. And boy did he go out of his way to make it right! He made another order and had it delivered from the store personally. Wow! What amazing customer service! “Having a local specialty shop nearby saved the day! I, like many, have become so accustomed to getting everything delivered from Amazon. But what happens when your Amazon delivery is late? That is what sent me online looking for an alternative and thank goodness I found Annapolis Cake & Candy Supply. They had exactly what I needed AND cheaper than what Amazon was charging me AND I got it right away - no shipping, no waiting. And then I went back again the next day for another item, because my other Amazon order was also delayed! This is why we need to support small, local business. I enjoy having a local bakery/coffee shop I can walk to and loose myself in a book or anything really. It's a roomy location, well-designed and welcoming. It has become my home away from home.“

“I have been going to Giant as long as I can remember. I'm now in my 50s and this is my first review I've ever done for Giant. It is a shame on my part - the first review and it's a negative one - after all the years of a great service I've had, but it must be said. They have done a very good job up until my latest complaints about the pharmacy & fruit.

Complaint: I must say that lately, just about all of the fruit that I get from Giant is either moldy, slimy or rotten or turns those ways within a very short period of time, usually a day or two. They do take the rotten fruit back without a problem for an even exchange, however, even the exchanges can and do turn out moldy, brown and/or slimy sometimes.

The people in customer service and around the store are ALWAYS very helpful and friendly. 😃 The main lady 👵that is always at the counter of Giant Pharmacy in Annapolis in Forest Festival is absolutely wonderful and should get a raise for the torment she puts up with every day from all the nasty patients in pain needing their medicine. (I saw the poor woman crying one day from a nasty customer yelling at her. )🤪“
