The food was really good! They even have some rare dishes like Menudo. Don't expect much service when it's busy, and you might even need to wait a while, but it's okay. Parking can also be tight during weekends, cause street parking requires permit.
Small and cozy but over all the food is made from scratch. Try consume de borrego, its amoungst the few restaurants that offer this traditional dish.
We had a wonderful experience at La Fogata Grill. I had a poblano chili stuffed with beef, raisins, almonds, pomegranate seeds and served with walnut cream sauce. Really unique and delicious. My husband had the mole enchiladas. He loved it. Service was excellent! We will definitely eat here again.

Must-tries on the menu include carne asada tacos, fried bananas, mole enchiladas, and lamb tacos, all at reasonable prices. The homemade salsas and fresh ingredients, like those cut right in front of guests, add an extra touch to the amazing dining experience at this local gem.
