“This was my 1st time picking up a pizza at the new location by Home Depot. I work in Eldersburg but live closer to the Mt Airy location. I grew up going to the original Ledo's in Adelphi and know the difference between a well made Ledo's pizza and a subpar one. Ledo's in Eldersburg does it right. My pizza was a perfect Ledo's pizza from presentation, to taste. I highly recommend driving a little farther to get the quality Ledo's pizza that Eldersburg is serving up. Good work!“

“We showed up at Oscars in Woodstock with no warning on a Sunday. There were 16 soccer players and parents. The staff handled things beautifully. The food was great. The girls had a blast in the indoor/outdoor room. I highly recommend this restaurant!!“

“By pure accident, we came into Pepper House for lunch yesterday. This place is a hidden treasure. There’s no doubt you’re in for a real authentic Chinese food experience. They advertise it’s “street food”, so you’re not getting a fancy sit-down dinner, nor a mass-produced Panda Express combo. This is real. The flavors and ingredients are intense and fresh. The ubiquitous chili oil is house made, many-layered, and includes Szechuan pepper for the numbing you need and want. Pepper House is worthy of many repeat visits.“

“Had a few friends in from out of town and I recommended we try something different. Made a reservation with Old Westminster Winery and we were very pleasantly surprised. It is a "hidden gem" of Carroll County! Staff was very nice, cozy-laid back atmosphere, food was delicious. Jacob is the Manager and very hospitable and making sure everyone was pleased. “Went here for my daughter’s birthday dinner because she loves korean food and it is just like what we have with my family get togethers. I had never been here before and didn’t know what to expect. The portions are huge and we shared everything with four people (two kids and two hungry pre-teens). We got the Kimchi Pa Jun, dukboki (no cheese or fish cakes), Chicken Ban Ban in Korean sauce, bulgogi (comes with a bowl of rice), mandu, and the spicy sushi combination (3 rolls). I couldn’t believe how large the portions were! Everything was so flavorful and definitely reminded me of eating with my extended family when we had large get togethers. In addition to our order, we also got banchans (sides) of kimchi, potato, green beans, bean sprouts, and tofu. The server (maybe owner?) was so sweet and nice and reminded me of my aunts. The location is not right on 40 like the other restaurants in this area, but it’s not far off. The location wasn’t super busy with people (Wednesday night), but they seem to do well with takeout orders. Will definitely be back for some traditional korean food!“

“We had dinner here last night and everything was incredibly delicious. I tried the Chicken Caesar Sub for the first time and I will definitely get it again. The sub roll was soft on the inside and lightly toasted crispy on the outside. The crab deviled eggs were amazing!!!! The bruschetta was tender and not chewy so the toppings never fell off as you took a bite. The cheese pizza was perfect and the Snake Dog IPA was ice cold. Denise was our server and she knew the menu in its entirety and provided impeccable service. The dining room was full and people were endlessly coming in to pick up their take out order. Be that a take-out pizza or a take out order for a large party at my home, a casual lunch on a jiffy or a meetup with good old friends on the kitchen and bar menu, or a banquette with a customized menu, the food is always great and prepared exactly as asked, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. To the point of few negative reviewers, naturally, as with any restaurant, there are bound to be occasional lapses, for variety of reasons, but regarding Maria’s those are so rare and far in between of an overall steadily great service that I’d regard those claims as a statistical error. So, my message is this: Maria’s has become a true gem of Reisterstown that cares about quality of food and service.
