Properly proportioned sandwiches made from great quality ingredients, good bread, and friendly folks at the window. The Gandolfini and Italian Cold Cut were both fantastic. A hint of sweetness in the horseradish sauce on the Gandolfini helped to tame the sinus-clearing spice and melded well with the robust beef piled high on a soft hoagie roll with just enough chew to keep your chompers satisfied. A healthy helping of hots on the Italian keeps this hefty helping of quality cold cuts perky, and the vinaigrette keeps it bright. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying even more sandwiches soon! It's a must-visit if you're in the neighborhood.“

“The ladies that run this Deli/Convenience store are so sweet. If you're a regular and are a little short they let you bring it back. It's really hands down one of the cleanest Delis around here. Their grill and kitchen area is sooo clean. No bugs or signs of rodents. Definitely should give em a try and help out a small business!

“Wen in the area, I always get their ham and turkey club sandwich. The lettuce and tomato is fresh as well as the luncheon meat. I am very picky regarding lunch meat. Just the right amount of mayo. I recommend this deli. They are always pleasant and fast.“

“Talk about a hidden gem and don't judge a book by its cover. I'm down in the area at least a few times a month for work and have driven past this place many times. I was craving fried chicken today and when I googled fried chicken in this area, this came up.

Steak and eggs sub was delicious, cheese was melted perfectly. Nicely seasoned steak, fulfilled my craving. Home fries were cooked well, they are the softer ones with some “burnt” pieces for the crunch, they just needed some more flavor.

“This place has the best sandwiches hands down. They've got a ton of different kinds and all of them are tasty. Try the White House if you really want a good filling sandwich. The cheeseburger and fries are the best in the area. Typical small diner area with enough space for about 20 people. Be warned, this place gets crazy busy during lunch time but worth the small wait.“

“A couple months ago during the summer a transformer blew cutting out the power for the whole block., knowing I couldn’t cook, I got an Italian cold cut , fed myself and my mom. It had plenty of meat and tasted amazing! I’ve lived in the area for over two years and I’m sad I just now tried their subs.“

The selection of hot sandwiches and wraps is really nice and they do allow substitutions. I like that there is also a good selection of unique Asian snacks/drinks/sweets alongside the typical options. There is some seating inside as well. Cards are accepted. “We were in the area and found this place during breakfast hours. Visually the place is very clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and the food was great. The pancakes were amazing! They were light, fluffy and generous in size. 3 pancakes and 2 pieces of bacon for $8.99, a steal these days. They have a few baked goods that I also grabbed (yet to try), but they looked so good. If we are in the area again, I'd love to try their lunch menu and would definitely come again.“

“On A Roll is truly a hidden gem inside a large office building. The receptionist at the front kindly pointed me back toward the cafe. The setting is open and pleasant with both regular tables and clusters of comfortable chairs. The freshly made breakfast wrap was just what I needed. “This is the quintessential neighborhood convenience store. It’s the perfect place to go if you need to pick something up quickly because it’s so close by.

They offer fresh, custom, sliced lunch, meat, and cheese, as well as all the other usual convenience, store staples.

The staff is helpful and friendly. You do pay a little more for certain items, but that is the price of convenience.

It is a little bit older of a little and the decor, if you will, is a little outdated, however, it has everything you need.

They have a decent parking lot that accommodates 20 cars and you'll see construction vehicles blocking things up at times. That's how good the food is and like I said they're a simple restaurant nothing fancy.
