“I've been meaning to try this truck for weeks & finally made it there on 9/17. El Taco Loco was worth the wait! I had the Asada, Chorizo & Pork Carnitas tacos. All 3 were yummy but the spicy Chorizo was my fave. At $5.00 each, the 3 corn tacos were a bit small but made for a tasty late-day snack. My only complaint was that there was no red salsa, guacamole & sour creama to top them with. The owner chef did garnish each taco with avocado slices, but plain avocado has no taste -- I need guacamole! There was also a tiny (1 teasp. worth!) container of green sauce that tasted of avocados & tomatillos, but it wasn't anough to apply to 3 tacos! yours truly likes her traditional OG taco toppings. But overall, what I had was Delicioso! I will definitely be back to El Taco Loco very soon to check out the rest of the menu.“

“I drove up and down Route 40 the other day looking for a place to eat. Nowhere and nothing really caught my eye.Stopped for gas. Saw their little truck in the parking lot. I thought, why not? At first, I thought it was abandoned from the looks of it. But, no. They were steady plugging out food to drivers pulling up.I got the carnitas tacos. Tender. Juicy. And made fresh with a lot of love. Even the tortillas were scratch made.You can't go wrong here.“

“Food is delicious 😋 . I went inside and ordered to go. Nice lady took my order. I sat down and waited and waited and waited... 20+ minutes go by I see people leaving before me who came in after me to order with their food. So I finally went to the counter and asked how much longer. The other lady went to be back and came back out and didn't say anything. Then, said something in Spanish to coworkers... shows me a bag that been sitting there over 10 minutes n say you?. I look at the ticket on bag and it was my food. Smh. I said, "Now my food is cold. " They just didn't even acknowledge me. I guessing If i spoke Spanish or was a Latina, it would have been different. Didn't even say sorry. Just walked away after handing me the food. I tipped the lady prior to receiving my food. Food is amazing service is horrible. I will return but not leaving a tip lol“

“We love this food truck! Been coming for years and my favorite is still the mixed platter, which has a combo of beef and pork ribs, steak, and chicken, all over rice with beans and salsa on the side. I’m not sure if it’s listed on the menu anymore, but it is by far my favorite dish! Food tastes fresh and is cooked to perfection. The tortillas are wonderful- thick like ones you’d get in El Salvador- and the pupusas are on point. It has the flavor of real, home cooked food and I find that hard to come by in restaurants and food trucks. So delicious! No matter when I order, it never takes longer than 10 minutes and they now take credit cards, which is a plus. This is a hidden gem in Howard County. There are tables if you’d like to stay and eat, but the road noise is loud, so we most often carry out. If you haven’t been here yet, I highly recommend you give it a try!“
