Vesper at Pike & Main Reviews
This is the BEST food in HoCo right now. The only “fine dining” IMO. Drinks are spot on and never too sweet- such a welcome addition! The crab toast is *chefs kiss.*. My vegetable allergic husband LOVED the broccolini which is the highest endorsement. Swordfish was perfect, didnt love the cut of wagyu but the prep was amazing. Scallops were perfect, I’m not a fan of risotto generally so can’t say if it was a good one or not. Desserts always innovative and delicious....read full review
An exquisite gem just west of our charmed city. Tucked in a perfect location within Ellicott City. From soup to nuts, everything was delivered with a smile and consideration. The duck was prepared perfectly. Typically not a dish you find in Howard County. We were pleasantly surprised when we happened upon Vesper. Cheers to David and Rachel, quite the pairing!!
Finally found a swanky bar/restaurant with Michelin Star quality food, amazing cocktails, and lovely ambience! For cocktails, we had the Naked & Famous and the Last Herb. For food, we enjoyed the Chefs Roulette charcuterie, duck breast with figs, and wagyu perfectly seared with the best mushrooms I've ever had. I will be going back often!

The crab toast is a standout, and the broccolini received high praise. The swordfish was perfect, and the scallops were amazing and especially wonderful. The duck was prepared perfectly and delicious, while the wagyu was perfectly seared with the best mushrooms. The Chefs Roulette charcuterie, duck breast with figs, and crudo variations have been fantastic. Desserts are always innovative and delicious.
The menu changes frequently yet keeps a good core. There is a small, beautiful bar area, indoor spaces, and outdoor spaces. The place has it all, with elevated food, good cocktails, solid service, and a great wine list. Everything has been great without exception.
