“I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! Thank you all so much for proving customer service is not a dying art!“

“I’ve been coming to Naz’s for a while and it’s usually the only place open after I get off work. The workers are always super nice and the food is definitely worth every penny. It’s very accommodative and you can adjust things just how you like it, plus the fact it’s ethical is a major major plus. I’ll definitely be loyal to Naz’s for a very very long time.“

“We had a lunch for three today. We had a tuna sushi and Salmon sushi for starters. We also had three ramen noodles bowls and they were delicious! The staff was very friendly and checked in on us to make sure water was refilled, asked how our food was and cleaned up our table. They thanked us for coming as they bid us goodbye. Dawn took our order, served our order, check on us several times while dining, and finally gave us our check. Most waitress now take your order and give you your check and want a 20% tip.“

My go-to bowl is the one with crab, rice, tempura chicken, and cream cheese, and it is amazing. Everything tastes so fresh, the textures are perfect together, and the flavors are just on another level. Every bite is delicious!

“I went there with 3 of my kids after a soccer tournament. We were greeted and sat immediately. Our waitress Samantha was kind and quick to take our order and anything needed while we ate. Chris ( another worker or perhaps manager there) slipped me a piece of paper asking if it was okay to surprise my kids with ice cream after they ate. I also noticed a special needs woman in the booth next to me who had ordered, then asked a dessert to be removed from her order because she said " she could not afford it". I saw that the staff comped her dessert and treated her with kindess and respect. All around I was impressed with the staff, their caring nature. The food was also great! If we are in the area for a tournament, I will defintely come back.“

“On July 25th I ordered 1 doz. Large Steamed Crabs ($95) from Madonna Seafood. Madonna "used" to be the best place for crabs. They were always consistently seasoned well....that was not the case yesterday. This dozen was completely dried out...they were either VERY overcooked or my guess is they were re-cooked. Definitely not worth $95....please retrain your steaming team or you will lose business. i will be going elsewhere.“

“I hosted a corporate dinner party at Boordy last night, and it was my first time being at their facility and getting to experience what they offer. After a miscommunication between myself and the (external) caterer, who was providing food for the event, I was left scrambling to figure out how to accommodate all of my guests in a very short amount of time. Grace and Carly immediately leapt into action and saved the day, no questions asked. They went above and beyond to help out, never once stressing out or making the inconvenience seem like an inconvenience. It was top notch service from both of them all night and extremely appreciated! The wine was wonderful, the space was great and I can't say enough good things about the service. “We used Margherita’s Pizza of Kingsville to cater our daughter’s birthday party and everyone raved about how good the food was! We had chicken parmigiana, Caesar salad and rolls that were all amazing but the absolute hit of the party was the Crab Chesapeake Pasta! It was to die for! There was so many giant chunks of crab meat! And it all just came together perfectly with the sauce! Everyone asked where we got it from and when I was packing up the leftovers, I even had some guests ask if they could take a little bit home too! Highly recommend!“

“We had dinner reservations at another local restaurant, and when we showed up, they booked it for the wrong night and could not accommodate us. I called Libatore’s and they were able to seat our large party within 20 minutes. They were super helpful and super accommodating and our server. Emma was absolutely amazing. Everyone loved their meals and their drinks…such a great place..“
