“Our family of six enjoyed a delicious and beautifully prepared dinner at Cafe Campli recently. Every dish was intentional and on-point - created and presented with a lot of love, care, and attention to detail - and, looking appetizing and ready-to-eat rather than over-stylized. The flavors impressed! In every meal, the ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the flavors superb. The house-made pastas and sauces were exceptional - creatively prepared and perfectly approachable. I particularly enjoyed the chickpea fritters appetizer; but the burrata was equally impressive. The accompaniments to the meal - roasted carrots, broccolini, and salads - were at the peak of freshness and flavor - served at absolutely the right temperature and doneness and dressed masterfully to accentuate the quality of the vegetables. And, the desserts! I will be back! My affogato was served exactly as it should be - a rich, aromatic double espresso poured over a generous serving of salted caramel gelato in a clear glass cup. The aromas and tastes of both the espresso and gelato, as well as the integrity of the scoops of gelato, "held" until the very last sip of this very special dessert drink. One of the best, if not the best, espressos I have enjoyed at a restaurant. The other desserts were just as remarkable. Serving the cannoli on an extra "little pillow" of cannoli cream was absolutely the right touch - luxurious and special. The limoncello cake and the bomboloni were equally impressive. Our server made us feel immediately at home and took very good care of us throughout the meal. Thank you, thank you! I loved the laid back vibe and intimacy of the cafe, which allowed for an amazing dining experience without fussiness and unnecessary fanfare. Some truly lovely wines, cocktails, mocktails, beers, and 0-proof creations, as well. Thank you, Cafe Campli, for putting people first and preparing all your dishes with such love! A+++. 100%. “Angel‘S’s is one of the worst seafood places to get crabs do not go to Angel‘S’s. They sell you baby crabs for large crabs that’s not how you do business. Drove out of town to get nice size crabs, and this idiot gave me baby crabs do not go to Angel‘S’s..”

“Johnny is the absolute best owner I've ever met. High energy, loves his customers. I asked for Alfredo sauce and this man actually called and had some made for my order. I am absolutely humbled by the gesture and cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Want good tenders and fries? Look no further. Great mini strombolis, amazing garlic knots, and the mozzarella sticks are a godsend. Love this place”

“We went to Koco’s today and it dawned on me, there is a bar that has all different types of people. There are Liberals, Conservatives, whites, blacks, Asians, gay, and straight people. For the time that we are in there, none of that matters. We are just people with no labels. We are people that come to this place to celebrate the best damn crab cake in the state. Sure, our bill is usually over $150.00 but, while we are in there, politics, race, and class mean absolutely nothing. To me, the food is second. What comes first is the atmosphere, the service, and the overall experience. I would just like to thank this place for pulling all of this off. I live about 90 minutes from Koco’s and it is always a pleasure to get in the car and drive down 83 for an awesome dining experience.”

“This was my first visit to Carrabba's for some time. What a GREAT choice!! I had one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten (chicken Bruchette) and the yummiest pasta salad, which was recommended by our WONDERFUL server (Francis). I brought home a piece of Tiramisu (also a recommendation). This is my favorite dessert and I couldn't have been more pleased!! WOW! WOW!! and did I say WOW!!! Can't wait to go back. After a family member's wake, felt the need for community connection. “Came for lunch. Our waitress was really nice but brought out food all at different times. Had crab dip, she-crab soup, shrimp and grits and crabcake platter, everything was delicious. Unfortunately almost every bite of crabcake had shell in it. Told waitress and she said "that's what I've been hearing", then told manager and you would think they would comp something at those prices but didn't offer. Tacos should have 3 per plate instead of 2. Still plan on coming back though as food was 9/10.”

I've spent considerably more on comparable meals at other establishments and this meets or beats those meals.We got the filet and the pork tenderloin for our entrees and we got the bread pudding and bruleed figs for dessert. All delicious and quite well portioned for the prices paid. The drinks were very well made and the finishing French press coffee was FANTASTIC.We were thoroughly impressed and cannot wait to come back!”

“I will start with our service. Our server was on it with making sure everything was good. She did a wonderful job with everything.The food was par to say the least. It was Italian food, but wasn't Italian food. The Crab bruchetta, was just toasted bread with crab dip on top. Was not impressed with it. The lasagna wasn't to bad.Presentation on these dishes could be a lot better.Atmosphere was pretty awesome. I like the outdoor space, didn't use it due to it being a little cold.Overall not a bad place, just have to put a little more passion into the food and presentation.”

We sat in the bar for the first time, combination of live music and general noise level made conversation difficult. Renovation and decor are beautiful. One of our favorite places to dine in Abingdon.”

“As always, Enrique was very welcoming & helpful with advice. The starter of sliced potatoes with light cheese sauce was tasty. The fried whole red snapper was lovely & moist. Snapper has a lot of small bones, so be prepared to separate the flesh from the bones. The Peruvian dessert Mazamorra Morada was very different with its fruit marinated in cloves & purple corn syrup. A very very tasty & interesting dinner. The service was excellent. As always all the tables were clean-as-a-pin & laid out with colorful woven tablecloths from Peru.”
