Wanted a sweet treat after lunch so stumbled upon this bakery. Place was clean and decor was very cute and inviting. It smelled divine in there like fresh baked goods of course! The lady at the counter was very sweet and gave honest opinions on what she would recommend. She said the chocolate chip cookies were very popular and now I totally understand why! The cookie was the best one I have had! It was perfectly gooey on the side and crispy on the edges. It has plenty of chocolate chips and the taste was just out of this world. I regret not buying another one! I definitely want to go back for their chocolate cake and lemon bar! Would highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a special treat!

I have to say, this place makes one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted! As a baker myself, I’m usually hard to impress. Cakes are often too sweet or dry for my taste. But this one was perfect! Moist, not overly sweet, and just the right balance of flavors. I custom-ordered a chocolate cake, and it was ready right on time. We enjoyed every bite!

Outstanding Cake shop!! Made the coolest cake for my daughter this week - BEST SPACE CAKE EVER!!!! Sandy was accommodating and was able to do so much in such a little amount of time. Thank you for making birthday #6 the best birthday ever.

This was my favorite little bakery in Frederick until it changed owners a few weeks ago. Instead of a china cup and the little wooden platter for my tea and shortbread I was served a paper cup and a napkin. Liz did all the baking herself but it looked like the new owner was training hired staff and no one came to check on me. There were no savory scones and the delightful ambiance had gone. The lady at the counter said they had all of Liz's recipes, but it was so clearly different. I hope they can build it back to the lovely spot it was, and that the new owner is as involved in the place as Liz was. I will try again in a few weeks. So sad to see such a lovely place so lost.

Disappointed in our experience today. We went for afternoon tea. We each got 1 pot of tea. We were expecting a variety of nice teas. They had 3 and they were tea bags that I could buy from the grocery store. Server never came back around to offer us more tea. The sandwiches and pastries were okay.

We had a wonderful experience at Another Slice of Cake! My daughters celebrated their 9th birthday with a Tea Party and it was magical. Liz did a great job keeping in touch leading up to the party and preparing a delicious selection of sandwiches and sweets to choose from. She made a custom themed cake and all the kids had a blast. She was very understanding and accommodating to a bunch of girls who were having way too much sugar and doing craft and singing songs. I would highly recommend you make a reservation for tea time, young and old will enjoy, you won't regret it.
