My family in both cities insist that I buy them shawarma too, so I call when I'm about 30 minutes from the restaurant and place the order (sometimes for as many as 10 shawarma). When I arrive, my shawarmas are ready, I do a bit of shopping in Jasmine's small market (love the tahini and cookies they sell) and then continue my trip. The shawarmas refrigerate and reheat well. I'm so glad I found this family-owned spot. It's so much better than eating at and financing the big chain takeouts (Starbucks, Chipolte, Panera) nearby.“
