Hope when they reopen under new management that it tastes better, with fresh ingredients and better sauce. The previous sauce is canned with no love.

They have a great selection of drinks and wine. However try the cheese or pepperoni pizza and won't be disappointed. Its the best

This spot is worth visiting. They have large portions for reasonable rates. Constantly neat and with good ambience. Will come visit again.

Date Night... Nido's has the best Italian food and it's a cozy place tonight our waiter was very polite but not that attentive.. It's was not that big of an issue cause wifey was happy! So still 4 stars.. And still a recommended place for great Italian food!

I celebrated my nomination today in this fine place. happy to tell that we enjoyed a incredible evening and the venue was indeed the reason for that outstanding evening. The waiters cooperated in a graceful way, the cooking was appetizing and my guests were very cheerful. We shall definitely come back again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

My husband and I visited Nidos with our family for dinner. There was plenty of street parking available. The lighting inside was just right, and the food was delicious! The bruschetta and crab dip were perfect appetizers. I also highly recommend the white sangria and the chicken piccata. We will definitely be going back!

Had Christmas Eve dinner with my daughter, an annual tradition, at Nido's. Reservations were made and the entire experience was very satisfactory.

We’ve been coming to Nido’s for at least 25 years, and through several changes of ownership. One of our favorite downtown Frederick restaurants. The red sauce has remained basically the same the whole time - a very good thing! Always reliable service and food keeps us coming back. A little off the main tourist street so usually full of locals. New ownership has meant a few new items on the menu including a fantastic Mushroom Risotto, while still maintaining several longtime favorites including Sausage & Peppers and Baked Ziti. Decent wine menu with a very tasty Chianti. Love this place!

great food and awesome service

The food here is good, but not great. Large portions of classic Italian dishes. We had the spaghetti and the fettuccine alfredo. Both were good if a bit plain. The pizza was fine. Thin soft crust so it can be a little difficult to eat by hand. The service was ok, a bit confused at times but nothing negative.
