“We get take out pizza at Philly's Best, and sometimes subs. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. The people are very nice. Caveat, a few years ago they had some very rude people working the counter but they have resolved that issue and everything is great here again with the service. The atmosphere is typical take out pizza and sub shop. Very clean and neat. Easy parking. The food is always delicious. Give Philly's Best in Thunder Hill a try, you will be glad that you ordered pizza and subs here.

Great food but the server we initially got has to work on her attitude. She kept ignoring me and my partner when clearly we were here before other guest. “I placed a big order for Thanksgiving 🦃 and got around 50 wings 🍗 and fries 🍟. The wings came in 5 different flavors, and we were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality! With such a large order, we expected the wings to be soggy, but they were actually super crunchy and packed with flavor 😋👏.

The only downside was that the order came with just one container of ranch dipping sauce 😕, but the staff was really attentive, which made up for it 👍. The food was fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend coming here if you’re craving amazing bone-in wings! 🔥🍴“

“My husband and myself stopped in last night, 6/6/2024 after stopping at the dispensary because the smell coming from crimson coward smelt absolutely amazing and delicious. We both got the crimson sandwich and I got the mac and cheese as well and omg it was all absolutely mouthwatering and delicious! We got our daughter a kids meal to bring home to her since she was at her friends and she even loved it, even the crimson sauce which we didn't think she'd like. We will definitely be back! “I was at the spot last night, and honestly, I wasn’t going to say anything because I know how hard it is to run a business. I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, but this experience was hard to ignore.
There was a short, dark-skinned guy behind the counter. He was on his phone the whole time while taking my order, barely said anything, and when my food was ready, he just handed me the bag without a word, no “thank you” no “do you need any sauces” nothing. Then he walked off to a spot near the pizza prep table, away from where my food had been made, still on the phone, just chatting like nothing happened. I’ve never experienced that kind of service in any restaurant.
What really bothered me is my wife had the same experience a while back—same guy, same rude energy. I didn’t think much of it then, but seeing it firsthand changed that.
I’m an African American man, and I actually enjoy supporting places like this.
Me and my family buy from here often and we like the food, but service like that? It pushes people away. I’m saying this with respect, not hate. I hope it helps things improve.“

The price they quoted was ridiculous, so I called Arirang Hill Carry Out, and their price was great, the portions were large, and the food was ready fast.
IF I had gotten food from the original place, the order would have been a total of 10 wings, 2 fries, and rice for almost $35. At Arirang, I got MORE THA. DOUBLE the amount wings, 2 fries, and rice for UNDER $30.
