“Royal Taj is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, like our 20th Wedding Anniversary last week. It never fails to deliver excellence. Because it was a very special dinner, we decided to try something different. So my wife ordered the Lobster Malabar and I ordered the Grilled Halibut. Both were very good, especially the Halibut which was covered in an outstanding Corn Relish. To top off the evening our excellent server, Joshi, brought us a slice of very tasty cheesecake with a lit candle on top. As usual we cannot rave loud and often enough about Royal Taj and it is all due to the GM Binda, who is very friendly, charismatic and truly sets the tone of excellence at Royal Taj.“

The tandoori platter is a generous serving, can make 2 meals out it. Not to mention the customer service is fantastic! “Excellent show. Actors/Actresses are wounderful, they are also your wait staff. Food is good, hot, and served buffet style. Food is themed per show. You have time to get and eat salad first. Then hot buffet. Buffet is opened for seconds if you would like, after everyone has been served one. Tables are send up several at a time. Ice cream barn is open in lobby, while actors are getting ready for show. You are given one of two choices for dessert, which is brought to you before show starts. Drinks, from soda, and ice tea, to mixed drinks are extra price, which table will be charged and given bill before table before show. Bill collected at intermission. Would recommend seeing show. Highly organized and well run.“

“My husband brought me here for our anniversary and it was absolutely phenomenal. It’s located in gorgeous historic Ellicott City and the atmosphere is romantic and intimate. The staff were attentive and professional…but the meal itself was divine. We had a 6 course meal and every single bite was a melt in your mouth happy dance. “When I first heard "Indian Pizza" I was skeptical but this place absolutely shines. The Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka pizzas are phenomenal. If you've had a Buffalo Chicken pizza before, it's along those lines. We also tried a Palak Paneer pizza, which shouldn't work at all but somehow does. I have yet to try "actual" Italian food there, but for fusion and Indian things, it's a great pick.“

“This is our 3rd Easter dining at seasons 52 and as always the food and service were amazing. The only complaint, and not even one really, is when I make the reservation on open table I always put in for a booth. I have an elderly father with back and hip issues and the chairs are very uncomfortable for him to sit too long. However we never get seated at a booth. I made this reservation 3 months ago so a booth seating really shouldn't have been an issue. Regardless we will be back again next Easter because like I said the food is outstanding and our server was wonderful.“

Next time will definitely ordered one dish to share, or two different ones to have more variety. Was a little overpriced. Paid $100 for two dishes and two bar drinks.“
