Found the room rather noisy- not sure if it was the pipes or fridge but it woke me- even with earplugs in. I’d already moved once because the previous one smelt of chemicals. The front desk helped me change room. Didn’t get much response from room service so went downstairs in person. I like the location- easy walk to restaurantsRooms: Some rooms look over the pond but others on a lower floor face electrical equipment (generators?) with no view at all.

The hotel is located in a great area, next to the Rio Boardwalk in Bethesda. The hotel accommodations were superb. The staff was professional and friendly.

Great staff, I want to give a special shout out to Daniella, Mike, James and Devin they always went above and beyond if I had any trouble. Also the housekeeper Elizabeth always made sure our room was clean and spotless. I love coming to this hotel. The staff always recommended great places try out! Will be back

Absolutely amazing staff. They are beyond friendly and went out of their way to do things to try and make me comfortable (was on a work trip and couldn’t stop coughing). They were making me teas and drinks to help try to suppress the cough - didn’t even ask. Great people, great service. Only complaint is the beds being a bit on the harder side.

The good aspects:- Great shower, good water pressure, well-fitting shower curtain- Good bedside tables with adequate power plugs- Quiet- Good lakeside view if your room faces the lake- Good blackout curtain- Painless room entry with magnetic cardsThe bad aspects:- No newspaper available, neither free nor purchased- Low toilets. Elderly males get a wash they do not want.- No microwave in room, which mandates eating at their expensive restaurant. No free breakfast.- Front desk has no idea about the room furniture to be found. Online pictures are notional rather than providing an inventory of what is/is not present- Charges for parking- High service charges

When booking, I notified them that I needed a handicap room due to the fact that my boyfriend is in a wheelchair from a spinal cord injury. I did not receive a handicap room. Which was very inconvenient. The bathroom also had hair everywhere I literally mean everywhere on the ceiling in the tub on the floor on the toilet seat. The room was also very dusty, The housecleaning supervisor should probably come by and check the rooms after they have been “cleaned”. The lady that checked me in on Friday was nice enough to let me check in a little early as my room was ready, but she did have an attitude when I asked her if the shuttle was back running (They stopped the shuttle when the pandemic happened), She was more concerned with the conversation she was having with her coworker that I guess she wanted me to hurry up and not ask questions so they could finish their conversation. The location was great And all the other staff was amazing, as well as the breakfast and the room service we ordered. Very noisy hotel. Children were running up and down the hallway, banging on doors and running away. Children unsupervised in lobby running around. Fairly safe area I walked to nearby shopping centers and the movie without any issues. Would stay again.Rooms: Filthy!!Nearby activities: Movies, shoppingWalkability: Very close to shopping and dinning

I would have given 4 stars, but lowered it because of the poor quality of the hotel restaurant for breakfast. There are no complaints about the room. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The problem was with the restaurant. We had the breakfast buffet. It was approximately $26 per person. ALL of the food was cold. The pancakes were cold, the bagels were very cold, despite my putting into the toaster. I waited 2 minutes and still the bagel was cold. The eggs had an off taste.Despite the name Starbucks on the sign, the coffee was not good. If you stay here, I would NOT recommend having breakfast there. There was another glitch. I stayed in a block of rooms, and the person who reserved the block asked me, after I checked-in, if I received the gift. They arranged for guests in the block of rooms to receive a gift bag at check-in. When he notified me of this later in the day, I asked at the desk and was handed the gift bag. I saw several other identical bags on the shelf next to the one I was handed. I assume that none of the other guests in the block of rooms were given the bags at check-in, as they were supposed to.In summary- nice room, crappy restaurant, glitch at check-in regarding gift bag.

We attended a family wedding, and everything was beautifully done! The service was great!! And the food was delicious. We had the salmon, and the yellow cake with icing was pretty good, but the red velvet needed some help. Other than that, it was a wonderful time and a beautiful wedding there!!Nearby activities: They had the peddle boats that looked like swans and the restaurant, and other things were close by in walking distance.I enjoyed it!

Always a wonderful stay! The front staff and the people at the bar are great. I’ve been coming here a lot for work and I always look forward to staying here. The location is very central to a great lake, restaurants and entertainment. The front staff is also very accommodating to late check outs which I appreciated very much.

Very nice place to walk around the man-made lake. There is a theater, and several restaurants on one side of the lake and on the other side children play area. A book store and shopping area is also nearby!Nearby activities: Nice location to walk around the artificial man-made lake. Many eateries are there around the lake in addition to several shops, bookstore, etc.
